This well stocked house was a wonderful place to stay on the lake. The kids loved all of the books and toys. Our hosts clearly put a lot of thought and care into our stay, and they were very responsive. We loved our stay and would definitely come back!
This was one of the most relaxing places l have visited, the views from the back deck overlooking the lake are breathtaking! The house was very c
lean, comfortable and just kindfeeling. Ann the host was great a
This is a lovely place on the lake, we really enjoyed ourselves and felt right at home. We played hard but we still had a much needed relaxing week filled with fine dining, sunsets, guitars around the fire pit and rock hunting. It was very hot on one of the days and there was plenty of things to do inside, we especially loved the selection of paints to paint our own rocks and we left one behind on the "rock wall". I love the fact that Ann had left us fresh peaches, sweeties, choclates on the pillows and that there were kayaks and sups there for our use. The directions were great and it was very easy to find. Thank you Ann for your hospitality, it was fantastic!
My wife and I have stayed at this cottage several times. We love it. It is perfect for us. We have stayed at many cottages over the years and we stopped looking when we found this one. Ann is an excellent host.

Our stay at Amazing Sunsets, Sodus Point was wonderful
The cottage and location exceeded our expectation. The cottage was so comfortable with everything you could possibly need provided. It was so quiet and relaxing. The sunset our last night was definitely amazing!! The surrounding countryside was wonderful and we were spoilt for places to visit. Three nights were not long enough and we were sad to leave. Thank you Ann for letting us stay

Thanks Susan! You’re more than welcome to come again.
This updated cottage on Lake Ontario is a perfect place to get away and relax. Situated right on the lake, our winter visit was perfect to watch the waves and ice form/change on a daily basis. It is convenient to Buffalo and Rochester. We spent time reading, hiking and exploring. The place itself is spotless and perfect for a family. The hosts were very communicative and thoughtful. I imagine this cute place would be lovely in the summer but we felt perfectly at home in the winter. Thank you

Thanks for staying and appreciating our little gem as much as we do. Come again!
What a great little cottage on the lake. Cute, clean, comfortable. Ann is more than accommodating to her guests. The amenities are many. We found the cottage to be well supplied with anything you may need. The covered patio overlooking Lake Ontario is the next level of relaxing. Just sitting, and listening to the gentle waves slapping the shore line while watching for the Bald Eagle that frequents the trees bordering the lake. We were fortunate enough to have daily visits. He was even gracious enough to show us what he was having for dinner one night. Although he was not gracious enough to let me get a real good picture of him perched up there. Oh well, there's always next year. If you just wish to get away and relax, this is the place. Sitting on the covered deck and watching the sun disappear into the lake is breathtaking to say the least. We gave some thought to squatting, but thought it's best to not be greedy and let Ann share her "Amazing" little cottage with others. My wife, friends and myself would like to thank Ann, her husband and their girls for sharing their "Amazing" little cottage.
We have stayed at this property several times and it never disappoints! It is clear that the owner appreciates good quality, and it shows throughout the cottage! We will be back again!
This was an absolute lovely cottage. Spotless. Probably the cleanest rental we have stayed in thus far. Ann has the cottage very well supplied for cooking, playing games and reading a book by the electric fireplace. The beds were very comfortable. The area was quiet. Well furnished and decorated for a relaxing long-weekend. The children especially enjoyed the chocolate and apples. Thank you, Ann, for a very nice stay!
This place is amazing! Comfy, cozy, quaint and all the conveniences of home. The grandchildren love all the books, toys and swing set. The location is near some wonderful farm markets, a playground on the beach and ice cream stand. We only ventured out because of a very windy day that we didn’t go in the water. Ann is so accommodating and pleasant. Booked again for next year 😃
Beautiful view of the lake from the open floor plan living and dining area. The cottage is very well maintained and clean. Plenty of outdoor space for children to play and for the adults to enjoy the stunning sunsets. The owner thoughtfully decorated the interior and supplies so you feel like you are staying at a a friend’s home instead of a rental.
The property is in such a perfect little area. You feel secluded but you're still close enough to drive a few minutes to wineries, restaurants, shops, etc. We spent one day exploring the town including two wineries, a lighthouse, and the local watering hole, Captain Jacks. And then the next day we spent by the lake paddle boarding and using the wonderful games and lake toys (like water guns) from the shed. Ann left us some great snacks and was a very gracious host. The house itself is cozy and well furnished. We especially loved the sunroom, the large speaker, and the outdoor dining table. We'd definitely come back!
We loved our weekend at the lake. Ann was extremely friendly and accommodating. She took the time to reach out to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Ann made us feel at home. The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed and more. The view is so peaceful and we all enjoyed collecting rocks by the lake. This house will always be our first pick when we travel to the area. We cannot wait to go back!
My husband and I were very pleased with our time spent in the cottage. The property was extremely clean and the most well stocked rental we have ever stayed. Everything about our trip was exactly what we wanted. A terrific view, cozy property and a relaxing getaway from everyday stress. I highly recommended Ann and the property. We will definitely be planning our next trip!
The house was perfect for our family. Nice location on the south shore of Lake Ontario with a firepit right next to the lake. Nice day trips included Rochester's strong museum and Sodus' Chimney Bluffs. All amenities were available and a lot of nice touches were included. We visited early April so didn't get out on the lake, but the house has a number of swimming supplies and a paddleboat as well.
Beautiful view, even from the living room when it was too cold or rainy to go outside (April). Nicely renovated property. Nice to have Ann check in on us via Vrbo to make sure we had what we needed.
We had a very nice, peaceful weekend in Sodus. The house was the most well-equipped rental we've ever stayed in: the kitchen was well-stocked with pots and pans and basics like oil and spices, the bedrooms had extra blankets and board games, and my kids loved the candy left on the pillows. The location is lovely and we spent some time out looking at the lake each day before we got too cold. If you're staying in the winter, I'd consider requesting that the owners (who are very responsive) turn the heat on the day before, because it was off when we arrived and the baseboard heaters really struggled to warm the place up. We happened to stay the weekend of a huge snowstorm and had to cut our trip short by a night to make sure we got home safely, and were all very disappointed to have to leave!

I love to read, travel and spend time with my family. I also enjoy cooking and baking. My favorite season is the summer! We have 2 beautiful daughters and an adorable Lhasapoo named Angel.
Travel is my passion! I've had the pleasure to study abroad in Mexico and backpack through Peru with a friend. I've visited Venezuela and the Dominican Republic.
I spent 6 weeks in Germany/France through The Lions Club.
My husband and I backpacked through Western Europe and finally settled in Rome for 4 months and moved on to Sardinia for 4 months! We also visited his family village in Sicily for extended periods of time.
We also were able to visit my sister in Nepal while she was serving for the Peace Corp.
I'm always looking for a new adventure!
My favorite book is "The Red Tent". My family loves it when I make my "famous" carrot cake.
