My friend and I were there to run Never Summer 60K and 100K. The place was refreshing and nice to have comfortable beds and a shower. Host was so easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay again in the future.

This rental is a pleasant surprise compared to other rentals, hotels and motels in this old Colorado ranching community mostly forgotten in time. Kind of an off the beaten path community, but a beautiful place for site seeing, fishing, hunting or just relaxing. Very nice two bedroom with large living room and full kitchen including microwave oven, I even found toothpicks in cupboard. Electric heat is very comfortable, and the water is great tasting mountain spring water. No hidden expenses that skyrocket the price. A great price for what you get.

We were not only pleased with the size of the rental, but also how well appointed it was. All the essentials that could be needed were supplied. The location also suited our needs for a "dark skies" experience.

Clean, comfortable, easy check in and check out, we used the cottage as a overnight stay on our Colorado birding tour 2026 - it was ideally located for our visit to Walden reservoir, Coalmont LEK, and the Ranger Lakes SP region. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Would like to give kudos to the Host, Hayle. He was very accommodating. When contacted him a couple days after we left, to see if I had left my jacket at the apartment, he responded quickly and very kindly allowed us to return to check the apartment.Loved the view of the mountains from the back patio, where we ate dinner and watched a mom and baby antelope wander by.

We had a great stay. The property is a five minute drive from Walden and is really cute. There's plenty of room for up to 6 people. The view of the mountains and North Park are gorgeous. The only thing I would suggest if you are booking is to make sure you bring coffee, soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Luckily, I had packed the toiletries, so we only needed to pick up coffee at the Dollar General in town.
