About this property
East Nashville - Historic Charm w/Modern Comfort
With its 1920s charm intact, my renovated 4 bedroom/5 bed/3.5 bath home is located in trendy East Nashville. It has luxury for grown-ups and is perfect for families with kids too. You're within walking distance of local dining, a supermarket, an easy 10-minute drive to downtown and a 10-minute drive to the Grand Ole Opry and Gaylord Opryland Resort.
INSIDE: My 2,717 square-foot home is listed in the National Registry of Historic Places. It has original hardwood floors and custom-made decorative elements featured throughout, offering a perfect blend of antiques, farmhouse décor and modern amenities.
OUTSIDE: The backyard deck features a gas grill, picnic table and plenty of bench seating. The covered, colorfully lit “barzebo” offers patio furniture where you can relax and enjoy nature. The 8-foot, fully-fenced backyard provides plenty of room for the kids to romp.
THE KITCHEN: The spacious, fully-equipped kitchen features cathedral ceilings and a huge picture window with views of the back yard. The appliances include an Allavino wine fridge, gas range, oven, microwave and all kinds of kitchen utensils, dishes, silverware, cups and glasses.
DINING ROOM: You’ll be able to enjoy meals around the farmhouse dining table, under the unique barn wood chandelier.
THE BEDROOMS: There are four bedrooms. Three are master-size bedrooms with king-sized beds; one bedroom has a queen-size bed. The den has a queen-size daybed.
3 FULL BATHS, 1 HALF BATH: There's a huge bathroom in the first floor master bedroom with soaking tub, dual vanity and separate shower. There are 2 full baths on the second floor near the other three bedrooms. A convenient half-bath is located adjacent to the back door.
TVs & SOUND SYSTEM: There are 5 TVs, all Roku-enabled, with Netflix, HBO, Showtime, Hulu and Amazon Prime. You can play your favorite music on 5 JBL Bluetooth-enabled speakers.
KID'S PLAYROOM: Kids love the cozy playroom. It's like their own special hide-out and is filled with children’s books, a TV, games, and toys.
PARKING: There is free off-street parking in the driveway for up to 4 cars.
WHY HERE? You’ll be close to everything and just far enough away from the urban core to have peace when you want it. It’s the perfect mix of old Nashville meets new -- an authentic Nashville experience.
GUEST ACCESS: Guests have exclusive access to the entire home with the exception of the basement, the housekeeper's closet and a closet on the second floor.
INTERACTION WITH GUESTS: I will be available to assist you 24 hours a day via text or phone. If you need urgent, in-person assistance I will respond quickly.

About the host
Hosted by Kim
I am originally from Denver, but dropped out of Colorado State University after moving to Nashville for what was supposed to only be the summer. I fell so in love with this city that I stayed for 7 years.
My very first apartment was on Elliston Place, in what is now called the "Rock Block." It was right across the street from the Exit/In, putting me in the center of everything that was happening in Nashville's music scene. No way was I going back to the books after that summer!
Since then, my search for adventure has taken me all over the country and the world, but I always dreamed of coming back to Tennessee. That dream came true when I found an adorable 1920s-era Craftsman bungalow right here in Music City.

Why they chose this property
Quiet, serene, garden-like 1920's era homes.
What makes this property unique
Even though my Nashville home is in residential suburb of Nashville, for me, it feels like being in the country. There's so much greenery and it's so quiet and peaceful. You'll see and hear lots of birds singing and will likely spot a few red Cardinals. In the summer, you can watch the fireflies dance as you relax on the barzebo. It's such a sweet and relaxing ambiance there. This house really does have a unique charm all its own.
