Beautiful Getaway in Small Gated Community, with Private Pool and Spa!
NEW AVAILABILITY Oct-Dec. 2025 - Lovely Time of the Year!
A very spacious, comfortable and contemporary home in a small gated community with only 14 units. We share 1 wall with a quiet neighbor to the west; the home has tall ceilings, 2 master en suites, a private pool and hot tub, a fireplace, a portable fire pit, and a grill!
Located a short 10 minute stroll from E. Palm Canyon Drive and near The Movie Colony; it's in a GREAT location. East Palm Canyon is the "main drag", and has wonderful locally owned restaurants, shops, and galleries.
Relax and enjoy a movie on the 65" flat screen 4K HD, complete with cable and Apple TV, which includes a Netflix account.
Have cocktails by the pool, enjoy cooking dinner and dining indoors or on the patio. Or grill meat and veggies outdoors, or contact us for an in-kitchen chef to prepare a special meal to remember.
The home is perfect for couples traveling together. There are two en suites, both with wall-mounted TV's, both with cable and AppleTV and an easy to use universal remote. The downstairs master en suite has a queen bed, a 42" TV, and a spacious bathroom and closet. The upstairs master en suite has a king bed, a 55" TV, and an even more spacious bath and closet, plus a balcony with an incredible view of the mountains. Have a cup of coffee on the balcony before heading downstairs to start your day. Both suites have a selection of books available for reading. Both en suites are quiet, and both have beautiful views of palm trees.
Small dogs are considered.
THINGS TO DO - A FEW SUGGESTIONS
Enjoy the views of the San Jacinto mountains from the pool, spa, or just sitting poolside.
In season, pick a delicious grapefruit for breakfast from the grapefruit trees on the property (first check with your doctor if you're on blood pressure medicine).
Enjoy reading a great book by the pool, and note we have cocktail tables on the patio. A wonderful way to enjoy an afternoon.
A favorite half day adventure is to drive to the tram (a short 11 minute drive), take the 15 minute tram to the top of Mt. San Jacinto, have lunch, or bring a picnic basket, and hike. It's usually 40 degrees cooler at the top of the mountain, and a great getaway in the summer. The tram and restaurants areas have great views, and are good for people of any age.
The Palm Springs Modern Art Museum is a short 4 minute drive and offers art exhibitions from national and international artists. It's free every Thursday night and the second Sunday of every month.
For the gamblers in the group, the Spa Resort Casino is 4 blocks away, roughly a 12 minute walk. Or free parking.
Visit the new Lighthouse Dispensary and Lounge on Palm Canyon, less than a mile from the property and a 15 minute walk.
The Palm Springs Air Museum is fascinating, and the planes are maintained, and flown regularly. CNN rates this as one of the top 14 Air Museums in the World. It's a short 8 minute drive away.
Indian Canyons are a short 17 minute drive, and are sacred to the Cahuilla people today. You'll find rock art, ancient ruins, ancient dams, and so much more.
An hour away by car, Idyllwild is a beautiful small alpine town in the San Jacinto mountains, and roughly 40 degrees cooler than Palm Springs. There are locally owned shops and restaurants, and great day hikes.
Joshua Tree National Park, also roughly an hour away, is characterized by rugged rock formations and stark desert landscapes. It's named for the region's Joshua trees, and has hiking trails. It's also a wonderful day trip even in you stay in the car (you probably won't). Combine this with a visit to Pioneer Town, and you'll have a fun day touring.
Salvation Mountain, about 90 minutes from Palm Springs, is an outsider art mecca in the middle of the desert. Created by the late Leonard Knight, it's colorful, and made entirely of local clay and donated paint.
We have several beautiful mountain hiking and biking trails in the Greater Palm Springs area.
We could go on, and be sure to check out all of the local sightseeing tours.
