Unit is very nice; the pool is close; the unit is very close to the beach; centrally located for access to shopping, restaurants and it is the right size. We did have trouble adjusting the owner's preprogramed thermostat and one of our party pinched a finger badly in a loose leg on a dining chair (bolted in chair legs are known to loosen). The big drawback is parking. The on line description and management info does say one reserved parking space. What is not mentioned is that there are only 2 guest spots for a 40 unit property (time limited) and that there is no public parking within miles.

My only constructive criticism is that there should be a program where we can leave remaining food and supplies for either the next guest or families in need. There is simply too much waste and while not every product discarded was sealed in its original packaging, I would guess that guests renting condos for $3k-$5k a week aren't looking to poison, or hurt anyone. The food and supplies are fine. Perhaps your company could be the hub for that sort of stuff?
Also, you should simply provide cleaning supplies like garbage bags, cleanser etc. It's in your interest to keep the property clean and the cost is so low. I needed a recommendation on where to get a fishing trip. they were helpful in getting it. the team is great

We had everything we needed in the condo from trash bags to soap. It was very nice to have all the necessities that have been missing in other condos we have stayed in. We added an extra night in the rental condo and it was a pleasure speaking with your office and they are very easy to work with. Even followed up over the holiday to let us know what to do if the office was closed and we needed to reach management.

Nice Place, but...
First of all we were provided with the wrong security code to get in. As it was after hours we had to call for help. There was no one to answer the call and we had to leave a voice mail message which would be answered as soon as possible. The call came back about 10 minutes later and we were provided the correct code to gain access. Strike one.
Secondly, the internet/wifi was way below standards and we were unable to use it to take care of business. We had to go and find public wifi for this purpose. This was more than a bit inconvenient. In the evening we were unable to watch TV without spending about half the time buffering. After rebooting the router and modem multiple times to no avail and calling Xfinity to determine that there was no area outage, we called Sanibel/Captiva Resorts and asked for help. They sent someone out to the property (twice) but he was unable to do anything to fix the problem. Lack of reliable wifi is a deal breaker for many and I was surprised by the lackadaisical response from the resort management team. Strike two.
Lastly, despite its closeness to the beach which is a significant plus we were awakened early each day (except Sunday) by landscapers who roamed about with noisy gas blowers throughout the early morning hours just aimlessly pushing dead leaves about this and adjacent properties. Additionally, Unit 3C is the closest unit of this property to the garbage and recycling bins which are located in the parking lot. The garbage is picked up in the early morning as is the recycling but on different days. Don't plan on sleeping-in here. Strike 3
There was no hot water to the kitchen sink. This was promptly rectified by the management company after we called. Thank you.
Our check-in instructions told us not to set the AC below a certain temperature. However the AC has been programmed to maintain significantly lower temps. We would raise it up as requested but it would automatically revert to the programmed schedule which was consistently below the value instructed. Also, the AC drain has a constant, loud gurgling noise coming from the hall closet. You can get used to it, but its initially distracting.

Wonderful opportunities to see and hear the changes of the ocean. I loved the melodic sound of the sea and the kids loved the adventure of finding iguanas, turtles, sand dollars, and sea shells. Many adventures were experienced and we enjoyed the beach-stocked closet for play.
The owner was very helpful encouraging places to play and special dining experiences.
Always a joy to stay at Sanibel Surfside.

If I missed it in the description, I apologize, otherwise, it would be good information to have beforehand so we would not have packed them. Thanks

This was our second stay in Coquina 3C.
This was our second stay in Coquina 3C. We are booked again for next spring. We love the Coquina Beach Complex. Like others, this unit has some of the finest features, appliance upgrades, decor updates and is perfectly located. All correspondence with SanCap was very friendly and professional. We rebooked with no confusion whatsoever. During our stay, there was an issue with the a/c. After a quick call to SanCap Rentals, a serviceman was at the condo within the hour.

Property was great.
Property was great. Exactly what we were looking for. The only thing I would recommend is having additional parking spaces. We loved the condo. The pictures were exactly like the property. It was well decorated and clean. It had all the features you would need for a stay away from home. It even had beach chairs, umbrella etc. We felt very comfortable and have already recommended it to family. The team was extremely helpful and professional. The staff was great. I spoke to Jackie when making the reservation. She was extremely helpful and friendly. She was able to answer all my questions about the property and the island as well as address my concerns regarding COVID-19 procedures. You could tell she was familiar with the property. Paulina was also very helpful, friendly and professional.
