The property was very nice, loved having our own dock, the property owner was responsive with every inquiry before and during the stay. Lots of nice thoughtful touches throughout. Only thing missing was a heater of some kind, our first three days were cold (mid 40s at night) and rainy and it got cold inside, on the hot days the a/c units kept up well. Also, no canopy or anything for going out on the deck when it rains all day. We truly Enjoyed the property. As much as we loved the property , we have to give a heads up, there is a houseboat moored near the dock, very close, and they like to play very loud & vulgar music all day long - so loud we could hear the lyrics clearly & feel the thumping while in the house with doors closed. We asked Stardust management to address the problem since it's moored in their marina after all. We called twice and then we walked down to their office when they ignored our complaints. Then it was turned down just a LITTLE bit. It was more of the same for 2 more days there.
Stardust also charges $25 to use the launch. We are big fans of the tiny house but sadly, dealing with Stardust and their moored tenants were an issue. Norris lake is our home lake, where we boat most weekends, we live 20 minutes from it, our stay at the tiny house was a "stay-cation", as we just wanted to stay on the lake without drive time. It was all perfect except for Stardust! Oh, and we saw flying squirrels while on the deck one evening-that was cool! Beautiful place!
