Rimfire 143 - One of a kind 1-bedroom in Snowshoe Village.

Our home is a renovated one bedroom condo in Rimfire Lodge which can accommodate four guests with one queen bed and one queen pull-out and is located right in the middle of Snowshoe Village. Our unit is literally a one of a kind in Rimfire Lodge that offers many unique features. To begin, the location of our home is on the first floor but has vaulted ceilings which gives an airy expansive feel. The most dramatic feature is a full wall of windows in the living room that faces west for a stunning sunset view that can be enjoyed from the living room or the private deck. All furniture has a warm feeling and is of high quality yet comfortable. Every year we make updates and replacements to the condo for the enjoyment of our guests.

Best of all, you are literally only steps to the village, main ski slope, ski lockers, restaurants, fitness center and Starbucks from your front door.

Rimfire Lodge is in the center of Snowshoe Village and offers direct slope access (ski in/out), ski and bike lockers, two outdoor hot tubs, sauna, fitness room and access to a heated underground parking garage (additional fee). Shared laundry facilities are on the fourth floor. Lots of restaurants and shopping are right outside your door. The building is also adjacent to Snowshoe's Split Rock Aqua Center.

Our condo's amenities room by room:

Living Room: features Lazy Boy couches with a slumber-air pull out mattress which is the best you can buy and very comfortable; WiFi and cable TV with flat screen television, Xbox with a selection of games, and a BluRay player with movies for guests use; Bluetooth speaker; gas operated fireplace; new solid wood furniture; wall of windows with a Western view; outdoor deck with chairs.

Dining Room: solid wood dining room set with expandable table which is perfect for games and puzzles as well as a nice place to eat your meals. We have a nice selection of games and puzzles for your enjoyment.

Kitchen: recently renovated with high end quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances and large under counter mounted sink; slate floors, ceramic wood finished accent wall and updated cabinets. The kitchen is equipped for cooking and includes coffee maker, toaster, crock pot, pots, pans, etc. We have plenty of plates, utensils and glasses. We even have plastic wine and beverages glasses to bring down to the hot tub. We have tried to think of everything you will need in the kitchen to make meals in and enjoy time with your family and friends.

Bedroom: tasteful wood bedroom furniture, cable TV and flat screen television, super comfortable queen sized Tuft & Needle mattress and nice sized closet.

Bathroom: beautifully updated with oil rubbed bronze fixtures and accessories; solid surface vanity with storage; oversized adjustable shower head, slate floors and good lighting.

In addition to the closet in the bedroom there is another closet in the unit. We have put up lots of hooks around the condo that are great for hanging all of your things in addition to the closet space. There is also a humidifier that comes in handy in the winter.

Snowshoe Mountain Resort is a premier ski destination which was voted by SKI Magazine as one of the top 20 ski resorts in the East in 2016. Thanks to a combination of lake effect storms, high elevation and other weather patterns, annual snowfall averages more than 180 inches. You have choice with skiing over 60 trails on 260 acres of terrain at the Basin, Silver Creek or the Western Territory. In addition to the slopes, there's tubing, snowmobile tours, and RZR tours available through Snowshoe, along with a full-service spa.

Snowshoe Mountain has lots to offer in the summer. There is the Gary Player designed Raven Golf Course which was rated 'top 100 in the country' by Golf magazine. Bike and hike the miles of trails that Snowshoe offers on their 11,000 acres. You can canoe, kayak or paddlebike on Shaver's Lake. You can ride the Hare Racer Zipline, try the Eurobungie, or wall-climbing. There is also scenic chair lift rides, sporting clays, wilderness Segway tours, Polaris RZR tours and guided horseback rides.
