Beautiful family get away, kids enjoyed the Rangers, fire pit, kayaking and swimming in the spring fed pond. The Rangers kept the kids busy on the miles of wooded trails as well as time spent on the old style paddle boat. The home was large enough for the 12 of us, rustic for sure but a really cool place. The lawn was huge and the kids played corn hole, football and wiffle ball. Just an all around great time.

Beautiful outdoors getaway
The property was more than I could imagine! The screened in porch was to die for! Fishing was fun even though we didn’t catch much. Wade did a great job with our tour of the trails and property!
Josh answered all of our questions well and in a timely manner.
The club house was good for the fact it’s from the 1920’s! It is in need of some updates but they are doing I was able to tell they were doing them well. The plumbing was not the greatest but did it’s job for the 9 of us that stayed.
Over all we will visit again as it truly was beautiful! Our kids had so much room to run and play! I am excited to see the improvements in the future!!

Beautiful Location, Friendly Staff, Relaxing & Fun
This is the first time my sister, mom, and I rented a place like this. It was easy to book online and communicate with Becky, who works in the office. Talking to Brad, the owner, and his niece Katie, who helps around the property, were highlights.
It’s hard to tell from the pictures but it makes sense that a place this old would need more renovations. Half of the house is updated and the other half is not, but I heard there are plans to complete the project.
Glad to have rented the golf cart to explore all the trails and discover the way artesian well and lotus pond. Had fun on the paddle boats and kayak. The barn is gorgeous and the big cows were docile and curious about the attention we gave them.
It’s wonderful how each of the rental property has its own personal space with a fire pit and outdoor seating areas and porches. We would definitely come back again, and if we had a smaller group would love to try the family cabin or Elroy’s s house for a more modern experience.

Thank you very much Jennifer! We really appreciate you spending your vacation with us!
We had a nice experience here, plenty of space, beds, and the porch and fire pit were amazing! There are several other cabins and yurts for rent on this property. Check if they are hosting other events before you book during the time you are staying, and bring your own shampoo and conditioner.
Checking in/out was really easy and the staff was very helpful and informative about the property. We rented 2 of the rangers the first day to drive on the trails. There were a few interesting scenic stops on the trails and so many deer. The beds were comfortable, especially the one hanging in the wrap around porch so I was informed by all the women. There are so many Christmas lightsin the trees, we might have to come back in the winter.
I had to come to MN for a family funeral and needed a gathering place for my family. I looked at many different places and kept going back to this location. I'm SO happy I choose this place. It is so magical and has so much history to the entire property. When we drove in, we were immediately drawn into the beauty, the trees and the creek captured our hearts immediately and I knew then I had definately made the right choice. We stayed in the Clubhouse - WOW WOW WOW!! This house itself has a ton of history to it....There are so many beds. This is a building that is very old and has so much charm to it. It's all very comfortable and a great place for large groups to gather and be able to spread out. The screen in porch was one of our favorite spaces. They have the most amazing table to have meals at out there. The outside fire place was incredible. We didn't have time to rent one of the rangers to see more of the property - I highly suggest you do that, because it's incredible. The owners are onsite and have their family working with them. Everyone of them is kind and so welcoming. They have done everything so RIGHT at this amazing place. Don't hesitate to stay here, it's worth every penny.
I can't thank the entire family for spending time with us and overall making us feel so comfortable.
Clean and spacious house with tons of character and history. The amazing front porch was a favorite place to hang out. Rustic setting with modern amenities (central air, laundry, microwave, tv, and WiFi). Beautiful trails to hike or ride on. Spring fed swimming pond, with kayaks, paddle boats and boards. The owner’s were super friendly and responsive. They shared stories and cool details about the property with us. This place was really just amazing. We’re so thankful for our time there.

Thank you so much Kim! We loved hosting your group! Can't wait to have you Back!
Very beautiful grounds. The Lotus pond is amazing. Great time with a bunch of girl friends. Beautiful wedding venue if you know someone getting married.
What a magnificent place for family fun. The lake with the antique paddle boats, was a hit for the kids in the group. They enjoyed paddling around the river- and the chance to fish all day was a hit.
The camp home is older but fit are needs for 9 people very well. Very clean - the front porch is wonderful. We had a 11 year old grandson sleep out there one night . He is the one that announced he would like to come back every year!
The hosts were friendly and very responsive .

We had a wonderful time. The property is so beautiful. We went hiking paddle boating , and swimming. There are also near by lakes for motor boats which we did. We stayed in the club house which was old but charming. The screened in porch was awesome. We ate many of our meals there. The bonfire pit is great. Even the play set for the kids was great.. mostly just loved the beauty of the property.. the owner was friendly and nice
We had a wonderful time. I wish we could have stayed longer. There was something for everyone to do. The waterfalls in the area were awesome. Renting the Ranger made the stay even better.
We had an initial hiccup due to a check in misunderstanding, of no fault of the property owner, but they were proactive in reaching out to communicate the concern and was very affable to reach an accommodating resolution. The actual property itself was very nice, clean and worked perfect for a group of friends to enjoy a relaxed evening together.
Great space to relax and enjoy time with family. The screen porch and fire pit are perfect for late discussions and early cups of coffee. We all loved the water access for fishing, swimming, paddle boarding, and kayaking. The history of the estate adds to the charm.
This was an awesome property for the kids. There were a lot of room for them to run around an play safely. The club house is on the older side but it was clean and would be awesome for those that are looking for this type of rental. There are plenty of rooms to sleep plenty of people.
This is precious treasure not to be missed. Old time trout fishing cottage style love it and will keep going back
