Beautifully landscaped w/ 360 degree views of the fields, pond & beautiful old stone barn. Bring your horses or enjoy our Clydesdales, chickens and our pig Michigan, play in the creek and hike the property. The perfect getaway for girls nights, small family retreats, vineyard tours and families who are attending weddings here at Sylvanside Farm.

Our hosts were welcoming, friendly and helpful at every turn. The house was just what our family needed in our retreat after the busy holiday season. The farm animals were a big hit with everyone, especially the chickens land horses. The couches could have been more comfortable but that didn't distract us from having a great time. A little tip that will help you be more comfortable in the downstairs bedroom is to keep the closet open as the heat vent is inside. Overall, it was a fabulous place for our family to get away. I would recommend it highly to anyone looking for a family farm adventure.

Thanksgiving at the farm

We had a lovely day-after-Thanksgiving with our children and grandchildren. The home was cozy and spacious, and we loved having the fireplace available. Our grandkids enjoyed the horses, pig, chicken and two beautiful and friendly dogs. Hope we get to visit again soon!

Perfect Get-a-Way!

My four friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at Sylvanside Farm. It was a perfect central location for the five of us traveling from North Carolina, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut. The property was absolutely amazing, the cottage we stayed in was perfect in every way (and spotless!) and the owners, who live on the farm were terrific! I would highly recommend this property and would stay here again without hesitation.
