Spacious one bedroom, one bathroom casa located in Baja's Resort at East Cape. High ceilings with a large sliding door opening onto a private patio with stairs leading to a rooftop terrace. Full kitchen with stainless appliances including dishwasher and microwave. The bedroom has a queen size bed and there is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Easy walk to beach, groceries and many excellent restaurants as well as ATMs and a variety of shopping. Resort amenities include laundry room, pool, and hot tub. You can also book horseback riding, a whale & dolphin cruise or a sport fishing trip. Pickle ball courts located at the park next to the resort. Local mountain bike rentals if you would like to enjoy the extensive network of single track available in the area.

The Casita was exactly as pictured and in a great location central to everything in Los Barriles. Host was quick to respond prior to our visit and we did not have any issues during our stay so we did not need to communicate further. I would HIGHLY recommend staying in this adorable casita and given the opportunity we will stay there again!!

Great location for walking everywhere. About 5 minutes to the beach, all stores & restaurants are easy walking distance as well. Very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!!

Renter Beware!

From the jump, the local manager let my son and I in, and promptly left without providing a key to the unit. We're in MX, and when I look for the 5 gal. water dispenser for a glass of water, it was empty. So I went and got a key and water from the manager. Only one light working at bath vanity, when I started the shower it reeked of sulfur smell, rotten eggs. Advertised as having hide-a-bed in living room for my son to use. I was old, flattened mattress and old style with metal bar across the middle. Unusable. My son resorted to just sleeping on it as a couch. Located only 150' from the main street in town it was extremely noisy with ATV and truck traffic beginning around 7:00 am and a youth activity center (public) perhaps 100' away that was in use until 10:00 pm. Extremely noisy location. It seemed that the unit did not get used much and wasn't what on would call inviting. We paid for two weeks and I would never stay here again. We left three days early. Very disappointing.

My apologies for the key and drinking water, honest mistake and the manager delivered them to your door. Also, for having to twist the light bulb to work. New bulbs located in the kitchen cabinet. You happened to be the first guest after the summer slow season so the shower needed to be on for about 15 minutes to clear. Apparently it was used after that because when we arrived a few day after you left we did not notice any bad water smell. The hide-a-bed is five yrs. old and has been used three or four times. It amazes me when people visit another country and are disappointed when it’s not the same as back home. There is occasional noise because the casa you booked is ”conveniently located in downtown Los Barriles” Cheers, Chris

extremely responsible and helpful by owner and property manager

we are unable to turn on the gas stover. We txt the owner. Within 20 mins, the property manager will come help us. Ask, the property manager and his staff are super nice, they will help us to prepare water-sport equipments so we can pick up any time. We highly recommend this property. we definitely will rent this property again next time.

Just what we needed

My husband and I were very happy with this casita and the grounds at East Cape. The pool was clean and refreshing for an evening dip after the beach. It was a pleasure to rent from Chris as he was very easy to communicate and Omar the manager on site was extremely helpful. Everything was within walking distance! We recommend this property and hope to visit again!
