Muy único - 1840 Log Cabin- Downtown Frederick- Completamente renovado

Muy único, bellamente renovado, histórico, 1840, en el centro de Frederick Log Cabin House. Realmente hay algo como esto en Frederick. La casa está muy cerca de todo el centro. Está a unos diez minutos a pie del Canal. La temporada navideña es la época del año favorita de mi esposa en el centro de Frederick. Las calles están todas iluminadas y se ven hermosas.
Cuenta con todas las comodidades de una casa para vivir a tiempo completo. Lo configuré para vivir y terminé mudándome a Hawai. Todo es nuevo fuera de los troncos para la cabina y el piso. Es verdaderamente hermoso.
Hay tantas cosas que hacer en el centro de Frederick. Hay restaurantes y bares que trabajan a 10 minutos a pie de la casa.
Compré la cabaña hace unos 4 años. No había ventanas, puertas, electricidad o fontanería. Fue una renovación completa de su belleza original con todas las comodidades modernas. Ahora es un lugar súper cómodo para quedarse.
Hay un álbum de fotos en la mesa de centro que muestra el proceso de renovación.
Espero que disfruten de la cabaña de troncos tanto como mi familia.

Cozy retreat near downtown. Met all our needs for our week long stay. Great location for several day trips we took. The host was helpful and easy to reach with questions. We appreciated the suggestions he gave to make our stay enjoyable!

Great place for sisters/cousins to celebrate a 40th bday. Great location - we went hiking nearby and spent the afternoon walking around town. House was clean and spacious for 6 of us and great for our weekend!

The home was perfectly located, beautifully decorated, very clean, well stocked/appointed, and charming. Host was responsive and friendly! We had a great stay and would recommend staying here. Only recommendations would be better seating/furniture options in the living room...sofa is well loved but could use replaced and need like a sectional or 2 sofas maybe to comfortably seat more than 3-4 adult guests (there are dining chairs but not cozy seating) Also, the upstairs room did get really warm, just because the heat rises from the living room....not sure of best fix but a little toasty!

Its a beautifully renovated "cabin", combining the best of modern conveniences with old fashioned charm. Its quite spacious with a large living/dining area and a good sized and well stocked kitchen. the best is the location, close to alll the downstown stores and restaurants but on a quiet street.

Beautiful home, great location!

We loved our stay at the 1840 log cabin! The home itself was beautifully decorated, spotless, and just steps from the main strip—everything was within walking distance. Danny was a fantastic host, super friendly and responsive, and even let us check in early. Highly recommend!

Great Place, Great Location, Great Host

This is a fantastic VRBO - historic with all modern upgrades. Meticulous and well thought-out design. Danny was responsive and needed help at check in. We cannot wait to stay again when we come back in December and hope this home is available again! Best in Frederick!!!!

Downtown Frederick Gem!

I’m a frequent visitor to the greater Frederick area meet relatives and friends. This rental was the perfect alternative to the area’s mostly tired and aging hotels. The great location enabled us to get an early walk/run through downtown and Carroll Creek, great food alternatives and a walkable drink at night. Super quiet home with comfortable beds and two separate sleeping areas- just what we needed for 5 adults and 3 separate bedrooms. Highly recommended.

I grew up in Montgomery County Maryland, moved to Frederick in 1999 for about 6 years and fell in love with the small town feel. I lived Southern California for 11 yrs and then moved to Hawaii, but always come back to visit Frederick. My home away from home. Have always loved the historic buildings in Frederick and I love restoring them back to their original beauty for others to enjoy.
I was in construction for about 15 yrs and loved the work, but didn't like the long hours. I walked away from construction and have been a full-time network marketer and real estate investor since the early 2000s. I got married in 2017 to an amazing woman and we decided to move to the Dallas area. My wife and I enjoy traveling around the world, exploring new places and learning about different cultures . Life is meant to be lived and have fun with the people you love!
I hope you enjoy our unique properties as much as we do.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

I was going to live in the cabin but moved to Hawaii for a year. This was such a unique place right in the middle of downtown. There is nothing like it. I thought it would be so much fun to bring it back to life and let others enjoy a little bit of history. I grew up in MD and lived in Frederick for about 5 years and fell in love with the city. I always come back to see my family. I am happy that others can enjoy it as my as I do.

There are only a few places this cabin in the downtown area. It took a long time to renovate it and and so much extra care to keep a lot of the original parts of the 1840 cabin. It looks beautiful now!!! It’s got 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms. One with a stand up huge shower and the other one has a bathtub.
