We have a large kitchen (with stainless steel appliances & everything you’d need except for the food!), sun room, dining room, flat screen TVs in the living room & finished basement, high speed wi-fi & laundry. Lots of windows make it bright. French doors open to a 16x16 deck leading to large fenced in yard. House is perfect for snowbirds, families, couples, business travelers, and your furry friends will love the fenced-in yard!

We’re close to downtown, public transportation, highways, Lake Quannapowitt, Breakheart, and <15 miles to Boston, Salem, and Encore Casino in Everett.

House has an outside camera at the front entrance and on garage. Video footage is not shared & is recorded for liability reasons, unauthorized parties and/or excessive guests, and pets not disclosed. Disabling/obscuring cameras is prohibited and may result in eviction without refund.

The communication with Karen was wonderful. Responded in a timely manner every time. The pictures of the house are accurate. House was clean, well supplied and comfortable. The fenced in backyard was great for our two dogs! Would stay here again.

Perfect location!

We had a fabulous time enjoy and discovering the east coast! This house is in a good location if you want to go see Salem, MA, New Hampshire, or even Maine! My family and I drove 2 hours to Cape Elizabeth and enjoyed fresh crab from Luke's Crabs 🦀. We enjoyed the house, the neighborhood it's in, the cleanliness of the home, and the positive communication we had from the beginning with booking with our host. We will rent here again if we make another trip out to the east coast!

Met all out family’s needs

We were surprising my daughter at school for her birthday and had to bring our sons and Tessie (our Boston Terrier). This home met our need for indoor and outdoor space as well as convenience to Logan and our daughter’s school. Neighborhood was great and met some very nice people with dogs while we were walking Tessie. I definitely recommend this property.

Christmas in Boston

Great location and very comfortable house. Plenty of room for family time in spacious kitchen area, game time on welcoming large dining table and movie time in cozy easy chairs in the family room. Great grocery and restaurants in vicinity and really fun walking trail around the nearby lake. We had to run over to the airport a few times for pickup / drop off which was a really easy drive due to the convenient location of the property. We went into Boston several times (again very close) and we went up to Rye NH in just under an hour. Great stay and great trip and our hosts were wonderful and communicative from pre booking through the stay. Highly recommend this property.

A Rare Find!

This house was big enough for our family of six with the added bonus of a deck and huge fenced-in yard for our pup. Karen was super responsive and extremely gracious when we accidentally locked ourselves out, coming to open the house while we enjoyed a Red Sox game at Fenway. She even kindly let our dog outside for a potty break while she was there! The home is nicely updated, VERY clean with plenty of parking and a large kitchen and dining area which is where everyone always ends up. It’s just a short ten minute walk to the commuter rail and quick drive to grocery shopping, the liquor store and of course Dunkin Donuts! We were also able to make easy day trips to nearby Salem, Swanscott, Lexington and Concord. We would definitely recommend the house to families with kids and pets who want to be outside of the city but close enough to enjoy all of the amazing sights and activities Boston has to offer!

Super Pet and Family Friendly!

This roomy 3 bedroom house is genuinely pet friendly with a large and totally secure backyard. Yet unlike other pet friendly rentals there’s no smell or visual evidence of the last canine residents! Well done cleaners. It’s also very family friendly with a well appointed and designed kitchen, big comfy beds and a large dining room table. We made dinner for our daughter, son in law and grandchildren. It wonderful to play hosts even far from our home. Our hostess Karen answered all our questions promptly, thoroughly and with generosity. We are so grateful for a way to be with family during the holidays without having to leave our fur family behind.

Best of both worlds in Boston area

This is the perfect house if you want to do something in Boston, but want to stay somewhere quieter, with nature access, and more spacious & relaxed than the city. Super clean, homey & inviting house with great back deck is walking distance to commuter rail into the city AND a beautiful lake and walking trail! We loved being able to enjoy the city and have much-needed nature time, too. And Karen was a FANTASTIC host, super friendly and quick to respond with all kinds of helpful info to get the most out of our stay. Thanks, Karen!

Home away from home

I was running a Spartan race nearby and decided to make a long weekend vacation out of it with my wife and toddler. Coming from an apartment in NY, NY, it was awesome to have such a big, beautiful house with a private driveway, deck, large backyard and great amenities at our disposal. We had a great stay and our cub loved the space. Karen was very quick and gracious in her responses and the home was clean and orderly. The best parts of our stay - the AWESOME lazy boys in the living room were so comfortable, the deck was great for entertaining our friends for a well deserved dinner after the race and the yard was great for our cub to chase bubbles. If we're ever in the neighborhood, we would definitely stay again.

Warm and welcoming

Our stay in Wakefield was wonderful. The house is beautiful and was perfect for my family of five. Karen was excellent to work with. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely try to get this location again.

Feedback we have received is that people love being close to Boston, Salem, and so many other fun destinations (including day-trips throughout New England), while enjoying our 3 bedroom house with a large deck/yard and relaxing/comfortable house that holds up to 8 people.

What makes this property unique

I think you'll enjoy all the comforts of home while here. The deck is pretty awesome and overlooks our large fenced-in yard. We are open to having up to 2 dogs stay here. The only caveat is that the breed cannot be on my insurance companies prohibited list of dogs (ex. bully breeds) and must not have a bite history.
