The Desert Safari - ¡Casa nueva!

La casa Desert Safari es una hermosa y nueva construcción en 2018. Ubicado en Kanab Creek Ranchos, estás a solo unos minutos del centro de la ciudad y con fácil acceso a todos los parques nacionales locales y atracciones como el Santuario de Animales Best Friends, a solo 10 minutos al norte. El Safari del desierto cuenta con un moderno plan de piso abierto con una cocina totalmente equipada. Los invitados disfrutarán reuniéndose en la sala de estar para ver una película juntos o ponerse al día con sus programas favoritos con Dish Network TV. El wifi de alta velocidad en el hogar permitirá que todos se mantengan conectados o investiguen las aventuras del día siguiente. El dormitorio principal tiene una ducha con azulejos y un enorme tocador. Cada habitación está completamente amueblada y comparte un baño con combinación de bañera / ducha.

Los huéspedes de la casa Desert Safari tendrán acceso al garaje para dos automóviles, a las lavadoras grandes en el lavadero y al patio delantero y trasero totalmente ajardinado. Perfect Home & Location

We loved this property! Beds were so comfortable! House had everything we needed - loved the coffee station. Hot tub was an amazing bonus to use in the evenings after a full day of hiking. We loved that there were extra blankets and towels as well. Hosts were extremely attentive and they made the check in and check out process seamless. The location is central to so many amazing hikes and close enough to grab dinner and drinks downtown in the evening. House was super clean too. We will definitely stay here again! Thank you for an amazing spring break!

March getaway

A great location, quiet neighborhood. House was well equipped, clean and everything our group needed. For our dogs the very large fully fenced backyard was perfect. Having the hot tub to relax in after a days hiking was much appreciated. We have stayed in several different places around Kanab and this one comes very highly recommended by our group. We will be back!perfect,

Nice house, great fenced back yard and close to “downtown” Kanab

House was very clean and seems new, and had everything you’d need. Fenced back yard was great for our two dogs. They even had treats for them upon arrival. Takes about five minutes to get to restaurants and shops. Hour and half of pretty drive to Bryce which was our main destination. Def go to Bryce…amazing.

Overall great - a few small things...

Overall great! Clearly had pest control done recently as many dead bugs around the property and some in the house. But none alive. Had hoped to use the back yard more, but only one piece of firewood left and the grass was beyond 8 inches in length. Under microwave bulb burned out - we cooked so would have been helpful. But seriously otherwise, it was a very nice property. The manager was responsive and communicative. Quiet neighborhood and house well stocked. Literally the only issues we had are noted above. Thank you.

Kanab Thanksgiving

We came for thanksgiving for a hiking trip. The house was a wonderful home base. The kitchen is well stocked, the yards amazing and the home was very clean. Close to town and day activities. We had a wonderful time!

Kanab ATV Trip

This property seems to be almost brand new. The home was very clean and accommodated 4 adults easily. We really enjoyed our stay in the area and the location of this property was easily accessible to the ATV trails and National parks we were visiting (Bryce and Zion). We encountered 2 issues with the listing and the property. The first was with the property management company. I had contacted them to verify they had a BBQ grill since we planned on using it during our stay. I was told this unit didn't have one. No problem, we brought a portable grill. However upon arriving at the property, we learned there was a BBQ grill. Had we been given accurate information, it would of saved us the trouble of packing a grill. The second issue was encountered with the Check-in process. We were not provided the code to retrieve the key to the property before arriving. We had to contact VRBO and work to get the code after we arrived. This caused stress and angst that could of been avoided if we were provided the information earlier. Once we received the code we were thrilled by how new the unit was and how it accommodated us during our stay.

Desert Safari

Loved the property but we were not notified with our door code!! I kept emailing asking for door code and no response! Finally called Zion Stays and they gave me door code so we could enter properly after 4 pm check-in time.

Comfortable Home While Volunteering

Finding homes in Kanab that will take pets and have a secure fenced in yard is getting more difficult each year--which is why we are SO grateful for this find! We volunteer for a week every summer at Dogtown/Best Friends and also hike the parks, kayak Lake Powell, and walk our own dogs (adoptees from Best Friends) around local trails and the neighborhood. The area around our house was comfortable, neighbors were friendly, and the dogs enjoyed the back yard. Probably the most surprising event was running out of propane mid-way through grilling our dinner, and voila, within 30 minutes of calling the rental agency, our doorbell rang with a personal delivery of a new tank full of propane! Such service! I would like to make two suggestions: first, we had no blender and we make smoothies every day for breakfast, so purchasing a blender might help other renters as well. Second, we did not know to put the trash out across the street until a neighbor told us that was necessary. Therefore, our trash was not picked up until the day we left. We didn't see that in our directions. Other than that--all went well and we hope to see you next year! Peace, Sarah and Randy Farmer (Nebraska)

Great home and great location!

The Desert Oasis is a perfect hub for visiting all the national parks and beautiful scenery in the surrounding area. My family and I had never been out west and packed our itinerary with all the area had to offer: Bryce, Grand Canyon, Buckskin Gulch (our favorite!), Zion (tip: Go in the late afternoon! No crowds and no shuttle lines!!!), Lake Powell, Horseshoe Bend, Cedar Breaks . . . It was a busy week and we were so grateful to come home to comfy beds and our own kitchen! Everything was very clean, well stocked, and organized. The washer and dryer was a huge bonus . . .hiking kids get DIRTY! The only addition I would recommend would be a set of walking sticks to borrow when hiking the trails. Thank you SO MUCH for such a wonderful stay! We will certainly be recommending your home to others!

Absolutely PERFECT!!!!

We could not have been a better place to stay while we visited the National Parks in the area. The house was very well supplied and equipped. The beds were comfortable. The back yard was beautiful and a very relaxing setting in which to unwind after a hard day of touring the parks. We highly recommend this rental.

Gorgeous house!! Professionally landscaped backyard. SUPER CLEAN!!! Large areas for groups as well as separated areas of two sets of bedrooms! No need to look anywhere else! A must stay!!

We used Kanab as our base camp for day trips to all the parks in southern Utah and northern Arizona . The house had everything we needed and much more. We will be back!
