This is a beautiful home with very responsive hosts. Our group of four delighted in the peaceful surroundings and easy access to so much of the city and the coast. I highly and heartily recommend this listing.

a comfortable space for family trip

The hosts were most accommodating. the place was spotless and there were toys , a crib, and kiddie potty seat and everything to make our stay with kids and grandkids easy and fun.

Nice neighborhood. Very easy place to stay. Close to all kinds of great places. Amaterra winery. Went for dinner with our son and it was great. Cornell farms is a fantastic nursery. We bought vegetable seedlings to plant with our grandchildren in their garden. The home is minimalist in terms of decor. Not minimalist modern just basic necessities. You will need to order K cups for coffee. No seasonings or pantry items. No ketchup mustard sugar etc. Fine for guests not cooking or eating at the home. Just good to know if you’re going to cook. Bring your own seasonings or buy them there. We used DoorDash and Uber Eats for food and beverage delivery. Really small backyard, no grill. The house is basic. Comfortable and peaceful. We were out most days with grandchildren and just there in the evening and morning

We will not be renting to this guest again. They would send us messages late into the evening critiquing the furniture placement and decor in the home (which matches the extensive photos on the listing). The home has a grill on the back deck right outside of the back sliding glass door so apparently they did not look that hard for the grill. And if it was important to the guest, they certainly could have asked us where it was in one of the 6 messages they sent us. We provided 12 keurig cups, coffee grounds, coffee filters, sugar and sweetener packets, and individual creamer cups, which I guess was insufficient to the guest. We do not provide ketchup and mustard. As a Vrbo owner and frequent traveler I do not want to open a refrigerator and see old used perishable condiments. We work hard to exceed all guests’ expectations and hope all of our guests enjoy the property and unfortunately this guest had unreasonable and unattainable expectations.

Great stay in Portland

We had a few days in Portland before heading to Bend for a week long vacation. This house was perfect - very clean, had every amenity needed and I have to say some of the most comfortable beds! Neighborhood was quiet and the house felt very private. The hosts were easy to get in touch with and work with. We would stay here again.

Perfect place for families traveling to Portland

Very kind, thoughtful, and accommodating hosts. Wonderful home in a beautiful neighborhood. Great location, close to everything but also far enough away from busy areas. Cannot recommend enough, especially if traveling with children and/or toddlers. 10/10 would recommend and rent again. Thanks for everything

Lovely Home and Great Hosts

We booked this home for the second time because the first time didn’t disappoint. Pictures don’t do the house justice. The house had all the space we needed for a family of 4, the neighborhood was safe and quiet, and the hosts were responsive and accommodating. We will book again!

Lovely Haven in a quiet neighbourhood

We stayed at this home during our recent trip to Portland. The home was very clean, organised, comfortable and in a quiet neighbourhood. It was indeed home away from home and all our needs were met. The host was also easy to contact. Thanks Michelle and Dave.

Clean and spacious

We really appreciated the cleaning products, trash bags, shampoo, etc. that was available at the property. The small stuff counts. We comfortably slept seven people, with two teens on couches and a young child on an air mattress. Very nice and convenient to the neighboring residential area.

Great Soccer Weekend

My family stayed at West Haven-Sylvan during a soccer tournament weekend, and the home didn’t disappoint. The neighborhood was nice, quiet, and felt safe, and the house was exactly as advertised. It was clean and comfortable, nicely furnished and updated, and had lots of space for the family to spend time together and to spread out and have alone time. Grocery stores, pharmacy, and restaurants are nearby. If we ever need a place in the Portland area, we’ll look for this house first.

The perfect property for a Family

We absolutely loved our stay. The house was so perfect for a family. My kids loved the toys and kid friendly amenities and us adults loved the space and outside patio. We can’t wait to return and stay here again.

Excellent home for families

This home was by far the cleanest I've ever stayed in, just immaculate. My 7 year old granddaughter was in heaven playing with all the toys and having tea parties with her dolls. The home is roomy, comfortable, in a beautiful neighborhood. The host went above and beyond when we locked ourselves out, and was so responsive to help resolve our dilemma.

We love this house!

Very very very Clean house! Owners have recently remodeled with all the new , top of the line hardware, flooring, appliances, paint colors and decorating. They answered texts quickly and were kind and responsive. The yard is enclosed and the street is quiet. 5 minutes from Hwy 26 and 217....easy!!!!!

Lovely, comfortable and well-appointed home

We so enjoyed our stay and greatly appreciated both the cleanliness and the comfort of the home. The homeowners were responsive and so many details were cared from soft towels and beautiful artwork.
