We are located in historic downtown McMinnville, in the heart of the Willamette Valley wine country, within walking distance of great restaurants, wine bars, boutiques and antique shops. Catering to the discriminating traveler, our cottage is designed to appeal to those who appreciate sophistication and elegance.

The house has two bedrooms with king-sized beds and two bathrooms. Master bathroom has a deep soaking tub for two and a separate shower; the second bathroom has a luxurious shower for two. Hair dryers, linens, and towels are provided, but please bring your own toiletries.

The OREGON WINE COTTAGE is located the perfect distance from your Portland or Winery wedding location. Say 'I Do', dance with your friends and family, and then drive to the calmness of the cottage. Let the warm interior colors, richness of leather furniture, and the bubbles of the huge soaking tub entice you. Relax.

About Valerie Rogers

After having enjoyed many travel opportunities, Michael and Valerie Rogers have discovered what they like while on vacation. Location, location and quiet are among the top three. In 2007, they brought these to you when they opened the Oregon Wine Cottage. Coffee is an essential part of their day, which usually is accompanied by the dreaming/planning of their next trip to Europe!

Valerie Rogers purchased this house in 2007

Why Valerie Rogers chose McMinnville

McMinnville is the childhood hometown of Michael; when Valerie met him in 1988, she not only fell in love with him but also all that surrounded him.

It's very simple why we have The Oregon Wine Cottage. We love McMinnville and the Willamette Valley! We want to share its charm, historic downtown and wonderful wines with the world.

What makes this house unique

Guests often comment on the peaceful feeling they have upon entering the Oregon Wine Cottage. It is as though the busyness of life has slipped away for the time they spend here. From the soaking tub for two with soft up-lighting to watching a cozy movie on the flat screen after walking home from dinner in downtown McMinnville, the cottage is a retreat from the ordinary.

perfect location

This place was perfect for our needs. Easy walking distance to downtown. So many great places to eat and wine taste. Updated baths, kitchen were lovely. A bit dark for me but met all our needs for staying for the weekend. Beds were extremely comfortable. Thank you

Cute cottage with a great location!

  • 5 of 5

Our weekend at the cottage started with enjoying a glass of wine in the backyard, right on the edge of parkland and surrounded by natural beauty. The beds were comfortable and the master bathroom huge and luxurious. We didn't spend a lot of time in the cottage itself because we were within walking distance of great restaurants and wine tasting rooms and spent Saturday doing a wine tasting tour and attending a friends wedding . So much to do and see in the area! I would definitely recommend staying here for anyone wanting to explore Mcminnville and the surrounding area.

Fabulous Location in McMinnville!

  • 4 of 5

Loved the location. It was a very nice neighborhood and easy walk to downtown McMinnville. The house was cute and comfortable. The kitchen was lovely and the bathrooms were huge! The beds were very comfortable. The second bedroom was a bit tight with the king size bed. The house had a musty scent, but not overwhelming. In each bath, it would have been nice to have tissues and larger soap bars in the showers.

Great place to base your stay when visiting wine country. Very comfortable and kitchen is well stocked. Easy stroll into heart of McMinnville. Way more relaxing than staying in hotel.

Great wine country location!

  • 5 of 5

Charming cottage in a quiet residential area, just a few blocks from downtown McMinnville with it's wine tasting rooms and good restaurants. The owners are very accommodating. My daughter and I loved the flowers in the cottage's garden. Very nice to sit outside.

Quaint Cottage

  • 4 of 5

My wife and I stayed at OWC for our 15th anniversary and had the most relaxing time. We didn’t spend much time here since we were out exploring the town so didn’t take advantage of all the full amenities. Overall the cottage was very clean and updated and the beds were very comfortable. Slept in each night and the neighborhood was quaint and quiet. Owner communicated very clearly everything we needed to do from check in to check out. Only drawbacks we had were that the place smelled a little musty due to the age of the house, but such a minor point and the place is very dark. Need to turn on the lights and open up the shades to get some light. We would definitely stay here again.
