Located ON The Lagoon with great waterfront views, this spacious unit has it all! With a shared HEATED (spring and fall only) pool, children's pool, hot tub and fishing dock, there’s fun for everyone. New walking paths make the one block walk to the 2 sugar white sand beach access points safe for everyone. Both have parking and one has a shower and lifeguard during the season. Gorgeous vintage wood floors, open concept, lofty 10 ft ceilings, 4 chairs and a couch, and 75” TV make you feel at home. The space feels very spacious. Two balconies overlook the lagoon and have outdoor furniture and one has gulf views. Perfect for 2 large families to share this spacious 2250sq ft duplex. Includes a full kitchen with a large refrigerator and grill area plus washer/dryer. Free parking/5 cars. WiFi included. Two master suites with king beds, TV, a private bath and walk in closets. The upstairs master also has a futon in the room that sleeps 2 more, crib, dedicated workstation so you work while you vacation and a balcony overlooking the lagoon with outdoor furniture. The third bedroom has a queen bed and a balcony with gulf views. There is an open bunk room with a double bunk bed and another single bed. All rooms have a TV! The upstairs bathrooms were updated in 2025. You can fish, crab, kayak, canoe or boat from the dock (must bring your own equipment). There is a covered BBQ grill, so you can catch and cook your own dinner. The BBQ area also includes a table and chairs. There is also a small backyard that you can use to set up games. There is a children’s pool, a regular pool and a hot tub. The pool deck has lots of loungers and chairs to enjoy. The pools and hot tub are only shared by 8 units. The unit is located on a side street so you avoid all the traffic and is located a block from the nearest beach access and 2 miles from the main beach. You can enjoy evening walls on the new walking paths. There is a restaurant, convenience store, and ice cream parlor a block and a half away. The kitchen is fully stocked with lots of plates, utensils and cookware. This is not one of those units where you only get one plate or glass per person. There of plenty of each!! It features stainless steel appliances and a pantry to store all of your food. It has a Keurig K cup and standard coffee maker. The dinette area sits 10 plus a high chair. Plenty of room for the whole group to enjoy a meal together. This unit has it all with its large size unit in a small complex, views from the balconies, amenities, walking distance to the beach and peace and quiet. No spring break groups. No smoking. No pets. Pool only heated during spring and fall months. For guests with babies, the unit has a crib in the master bedroom (located within a large master closet) and a high chair. Bring your own sheets. If you have a small child that is highly active, you may want to bring a gate. In the local area you will find Waterville (a water park), The Track (a go cart track and other activities, putt-putt, Gulf State park where you can rent bikes for the trails, kayak rentals and much more! The house had a Charleston South Carolina feel. Beautiful hard wood floors, tall ceilings. House was spacious and views were beautiful. The kids loved the pool. The walk to the beach wasn't bad either and we went several times during our stay. The futon in the master upstairs isn't really usable as it feels like you're lying directly on the frame but I feel that could be an easy replacement. The check in was seamless and the owner was super easy to get in touch with and in a timely manner. We look forward to staying again.

Great trip, the entire family had a ball and we had lots of room in this great house. Close to the beach, we enjoyed the hot tub, kids loved the pool area, fishing off the dock and grilling outside. It’s definitely that home away from home, very clean and comfortable . Owner is easy to work with too !

This was a great place. The main area had lots of room to socialize and watch football on the huge TV. The bedrooms were big too. It was a short walk to the beach and there are paved paths to get there. We are going to book again during the summer.

There were ten of us and we really loved this location and the layout of the house. The lagoon was fun for the grandsons to go fishing and of course the beach is always great. Nice pool as well. We’d recommend it!

Snowbird Month

Perfect place for a group stay. We booked this home for the month of February with a group of friends. Loved the location, quiet yet still close to everything in Gulf Shores. One in our group worked remotely while there, the upstairs master suite was large enough for her to work and quiet. The owners were wonderful to deal with. The home perfect and loved the large rooms, location and amenities we would definitely stay here again.

Pros: Very convenient to the bay. Fishing was excellent. Pool was good. The house was comfortable with lots of storage. The property managers responded rapidly. Cons: The appliances were shabby. The freezer door handle came off several times. When we arrived there were dirty dishes in the cabinets. Later experience suggested that was due to the dishwasher not cleaning well. Other: It is a two block walk to the beach. There is limited free parking closer. For adults the walk is fine but with little ones it’s far. The beach was excellent near the house.

Great location, spacious.

This is a very large unit and great for multiple families. Lots of room to spread out. Great pool, small hot tub and kids pool on site and a dock to walk down and catch blue crabs (chicken nuggets work well). The location is close to town and only a 5 minute walk from the beach! VERY quiet at night and very relaxing. Our only critique would be to update some of the appliances (dishwasher and dryer struggled a bit). For how nice a unit this is, a few updates and this would be a 5 star immaculate place to be . Also, having a vacuum for guests would be very nice to help us keep the unit clean during the stay, as you will track sand, since your at the beach. All in all though, we can overlook some of the quirks since the location was so great and the unit was so big.

Excellent Accommodations and Super Convenient

This beach house was a great place to stay. We enjoyed the comfort of being away from the busyness of the main strip in gulf shores without being too far away to be able to join in on the fun.It was relaxing and peaceful. It offered us privacy and space for our littles to run around and enjoy being free and making noise. The fishing dock kept my 8 year old and my husband along with my nephew busy pretty much the entire weekend. The bedrooms were HUGE. The bathrooms were nice and accommodating for a party of 12 people. Their size was better than expected. The bedroom with the bunk bed and extra twin area is more like a commons area, but for our kids, it was great. It was actually better than them being in a true bedroom because they were easier to access by my sister and I (we stayed upstairs with our families) should they have needed something. The master suite at the bottom allowed my parents a nice space to relax and unwind with the privacy of their own ensuite bathroom. I was thoroughly impressed. This is a great little beach house tucked away just far enough off of the main strip for some relaxation, renewal, and family time but just close enough to join the fun on the main strip.The walk to the beach is not bad at all. I actually preferred this to being directly on the beach for the fear of waking up to random people camping out in front of the beach house LOL. I will definitely book again for our future beach adventures. 1000/10 recommend this place!!!

Great Location and Easy Beach Access

This location is great if your looking for a beach access close to home without the hassle of paying parking. We actually walked 8 mins to the closest beach access and it was worth it. We got our steps in and didnt have to pay for parking. I will say we were a big family with kids. The listing does say it is a 4 bedroom but it is actually 3 bedroom with an (4)open space with bunk beds. So no privacy for that room. Washer and dryer are also located in that open space which is not bad just have to walk through room to have access to the washer and dryer. Again not a deal breaker. We managed. Also, on our 2nd day one of the chairs in the living room was broken. My niece was trying to get her shoe from under the chair when the chair collapsed.looks like the chair was just propped on the 4th leg. No one was hurt and i was able to inform host that the chair had been broken prior to our stay. She was quick to respond and always messaged back within minutes. I would recommend this house who wanting something close to the beach. Kids also had fun in the shared pool.

One Less Star for One Less Room

Please read the description. Something I guess I didn't analyze as much as I should have. This is a THREE BEDROOM townhouse, not four. The "fourth" bedroom is a space at the top of the steps with a bunk bed in it. Which might be ok for some guests. We had our 3 year old and were planning on putting her in that "room". But with it being completely open to the stairs we had to make other arrangements. Also, when we moved the dresser to try and block the steps you could tell the maid didn't clean under there. There was dust and trash under it and the beds in that loft area. Not a deal breaker. The upstairs bed (bay side) was super comfortable though! We LIVED the location. A bit of a hike to the beach but it was fine. The drive to the main beach wasn't bad either. I liked that it was far away but close enough to everything. The property owner was great to work with a very responsive. We'd come back if it were a 4 bedroom! :)

Since I live locally and this is my personal unit, I know quite a bit about the the local area. Just ask!!

Why they chose this property

I purchased this property because it has enough bedrooms for a large group, faces the waterfront, access to water skiing and fishing in the Lagoon, has a pool and is NOT a condo. I also love that I can grill on my property and that I do not have to deal with the parking fees and limited parking spots that occurs at condo units.

What makes this property unique

The pool and hot tub is only shared by 8 units. It has children's and separate adult pool. You can view the water from three balconies. My friends and family like to fish off the dock that is on the property.
