We loved the ease of this condo. The views were amazing and the location was incredible. My kids were so excited to just cross the street to the beach. The condo had everything we needed and was a great setup for our family of 4.

Beautiful condo with great view

My family loved our stay in this condo! The convenience of walking to the beach and pools are hard to match! The condo itself was very clean and beautiful. Love the view of the ocean from the condo. We will definitely plan to come back!

Nice view

It was a very nice condo. I loved it from the outside and inside. The condo was pretty big and spacious. It has two nice pools one by the beach and the other by the condo, beach is very close distance. There are plenty of restaurants close by. Overall our experience was great. We hope to be back soon.

Loved balcony view and free beach service. Condo fit our needs. Could use some updating like worn rugs and very low toilets. Shower floor could use a bleach clean. Balcony outlet not working so couldnt use my fan. Still enjoyed !

Girls trip

We were disappointed in the fact that the Gulf was double red flagged for 3 days of our stay which we understand is not the fault of the resort however they decided to close BOTH the pools on the same day for 3 days for painting. We did find out later in the evening that they had opened the back pool later that day however it was not communicated to the tenants. We had poor weather most of the week and the day that cleared up and we were able to get outside we couldn't get in the water at the pools NOR the Gulf. There also were duty blankets and sheets in the master bedroom closet.

Convenient to the beach but needs attention

Location and view can not be beat. However, our condo was not cleaned very well. Old linens from previous guest left on extra bed and in the closet. Dust in the master bedside tables. Toilet leaked. And mold on the shower curtain. Beds were very hard as well. View gorgeous.

Enjoyed the beach but not the room

Check in process is not straight forward. Got a text with the door code so I proceeded to the room. Got to the room and heard people inside. Someone came out of the room and it was the cleaning crew still cleaning. Why text the door code when people are still in the room cleaning? I had no WiFi the entire stay. Could not get logged in with the passcode that they provided. Was told to just search for WiFi from another room and log in with the same passcode, still didn’t work. Was told that I would have to call the local internet provider and deal with it myself. I left the room and went to the beach. When I came back to the room there was a device on the table. It was a hotspot device that I could log on to so that I could have WiFi. I never gave anyone permission to enter my room. The hotspot did not work either. I could log on to it, but it was so slow that I was better off using my own personal hotspot which I did for my entire trip and was thus charged by my internet provider for exceeding data. There were also other things such as the water would only get lukewarm in the guest bathroom. The tub/shower water was hot. The toaster did not work properly either. I had to manually hold the handle down in the toaster to get it to work. I would not book another room through RealJoy.

We apologize for any frustration caused because of check-in and the Wi-Fi. We do not know the specific time you were entering the unit, but an email is normally sent on the day of arrival at 2:00 p.m., which provides gate codes, door codes, parking information, etc. Check-in is allowed, unless an early check-in has been permitted, at 4:00 p.m. If housekeeping was still preparing this unit for you after 4:00 p.m., please accept our apology. We see that on the 2nd, there was communication regarding the Wi-Fi. We were unable to work to resolve the situation because this service is through the resort, which we unfortunately have no control over. On the 3rd, an inspector was to drop off a hot spot, who was told that Cox was working on the issue while they were there and the Wi-Fi was actually working in the unit. The hot spot was left in the unit. We would have been more than happy to try and resolve the issues related to the water temperature and toaster had we been made aware during your stay. Very convenient to beach.

This property was very conveniently located across the street from the beach with a beautiful view. The condo was clean with basic amenities. The kitchen was not well stocked, we borrowed a can opener from neighbors and purchased several throw away pans for cooking large meals. No beach amenities were available in this condo. Typically we would expect at least a beach chair. Our friends who rented a condo in this same building during the same time had free access to 4 beach chairs and umbrella set up on beach however this was not available for our condo. Still a good basic beach condo.

Perfect for our family of 4. We had a wonderful stay, the condo was perfect. Location was great! Our first visit to Destin. Loved the area and would definitely recommend this condo. Conveniently across the street from the beach. Met all our needs, zero complaints.

Nice place - poor policies

Stayed in many of these rentals. Never seen policies like these. We were charged a normal cleaning fee but were also required to empty all the trash bins and dispose of them outside. We were also required to wash the dishes (in the dishwasher) before we left. I thought that's what we paid the cleaning fee for. Only one roll of toilet paper was supplied and the kitchen supplies were INCREDIBLY limited. There weren't even any salt and pepper shakers. Don't plan on preparing much more than breakfast cereal in this kitchen. Also, the second bedroom is strictly for children only. Single beds are very tiny, even for a small adult. This should be shared accurately in the property description. Check out time was earlier than most we've seen at 10:00 AM. The view was awesome and hanging out on the balcony was great during rain showers. Everything was clean and well maintained and the property grounds were very nice. Close proximity to the beach. Over all, we would never book this property again.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review of your stay. We’re pleased to hear you found the unit clean and views awesome. When a guest books with us attached to every rental agreement which a guest must look at and sign is a FAQ section. In this section we list what we provide starters of and what you will need to bring and purchase more of during your stay. The cleaning fee covers the cleaning service coming in and cleaning everything. All we ask guests to do is take out the trash & throw the dishes in the dishwasher & turn it on. It just helps the cleaning service, so that they only have to put the dishes away instead of washing them by hand when they come in to clean the unit. Asking the guests to take out the trash just helps the cleaning service to help take out less garbage when they leave. The checkout time gives our cleaning crews and inspectors time to get these things done and any repairs to be made before the next guests arrive. Again, thank you for your feedback.

Great view.

Overall the stay was great. Condo was very clean and the view was fantastic. Condo as a whole was pretty rowdy and had guests keeping us up until 3am with loud music.
