Birthday/engagement week

Luigi and Chiara were great hosts!! They helped us get situated, gave us tips on what to see/do in the area and stayed in touch with us throughout the stay. They even set up a chef to come by and make pizzas for us on the property. Highly recommend this location!!

Fantastic stay in beautiful surroundings

We had an amazing week in this house. Beautiful view from the mountain, nice pool, welcoming owners of the house and a good contact to a local pizza baker, who came to the house to bake us Pizzas. All in all great stay, we will likely return here again.

Fantastic location

This property is in a fantastic location for those wishing to escape the busy tourist areas! The most amazing views and quiet surroundings yet only a very short drive from restaurants and tourist attractions! Perfect base for exploring the Amalfi Coast and surrounding areas! We did miss air conditioning particularly in bedrooms. The owners and their son did everything they could to make us feel welcome and to ensure we enjoyed our stay! They were easy to contact and even helped book dinner in local restaurants for us! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Perfect stay

This house is amazing, the location, the garden, the pool everything is great! Also the owners are really helpful, they even arranged a ping pong table for us. Special thanks for Diego who helped us a lot. The only bad thing a can say about this place is that some mattresses really need to be replaced.

Great Italian visit

The property was quite lovely and was located in easy driving distance to Salerno, Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast. The host was very helpful with special arrangements for activities in the area and at the house.

Prachtige locatie, mooi zwembad. Vriendelijke ontvangst door de eigenaar, heel behulpzaam. De uitrusting van de keuken voldoet echter niet voor het aantal personen, te weinig bestek ,borden en glazen… Enkele matrassen zijn aan vervanging toe.

Maison idéal pour famille nombreuse

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour en famille dans la maison de Luigi. Les + : Maison très spacieuse, une salle de bain dans chaque chambre, jardin très agréable, grande piscine, et même possibilité de jouer à la pétanque devant la maison. Grand parking devant la maison sécurisée. Luigi et Diego ont été très réactif à nos demandes, très facile de communiquer avec eux. :) Le +++ le pizzaiolo a domicile que nous avons fait venir 2 fois. Merci a Alphonso pour sa gentillesse et ses excellentes pizza. Les - : Dans l'annonce de la maison il était précisé que la maison était climatisée, mais malheureusement pas du tout. Maison de 3 étage, une clim qu'au dernier étage mais pas assez puissante pour rafraichir les pièces (30 degré dans les chambre la nuit...). Et en pleins mois d'aout , avec des bébés nous avons été un peu déçu que la maison ne dispose pas de climatisation,. Cela mériterait de modifier l'annonce et de dire qu'elle n'est pas vraiment climatisé. Il faudrait aussi idéalement un plus gros frigo ou même un 2 ème.

Maison et propriété très spacieuse, grande piscine et grand jardin, très belle vue, nous étions 16, 8 adultes et 8 enfants. Bon accueil et conseils de Anna et Luigi. Nous recommandons le pizzaiollo, les pizzas étaient excellentes et les paninis au Nutella pour le petit déjeuner du lendemain également.

Séjour à la villa DD à Cava de Tirreni en avril 2019

Villa très agréable et bien située ,avec une vue superbe . Un grand merci à Anna pour son accueil chaleureux. Cependant la maison aurait mérité d/etre tempérée avant notre arrivée,car le premier soir il faisait froid. Le pizzaioilo a fait la joie de nos petits enfants et nous a permis de passer une agréable soirée. De plus la maison est bien placée pour la visite des sites incontournables.

Wonderful property and great location!

The house and property are beautiful. There were 14 family members for our 50th wedding anniversary trip. Luigi and his family went way beyond our expectations. Helped us with restaurants, had a Christmas tree set up for our grandkids, and waited for us in town to show us up to their property. Anyone considering a stay in this lovely home will be more than pleased. The view and gardens are very beautiful. We cooked many meals in this great kitchen! The town is lovely with fun restaurants. It is a terrific location for seeing Positano, Naples and Sorrento. Wonderful and magical nine days! We would return in a heart beat! Thanks so much from the Lisi family!

The property had everything we needed - sleeping arrangements, relaxing in the garden and lounge

A good location for visiting The Amalfi coast, Pompeii and Sorrento. We took advantage of the Pizza Man coming to the house to make us each an individual pizza cooked in the pizza oven in the garden - Delicious! Luigi and Anna were very welcoming and helpful making our stay very special for the family of 11. Make sure you find the best route up from the town and then the road is fine for big cars (9 seaters even!) A secure property with wonderful views....highly recommended. Anne & family UK

We had a wonderful family holiday. Luigi and Anna were very welcoming and we enjoyed the goodies they left. Fabulous views and to have these you need to negotiate a very steep hill. We had two cars one the deisel coped much better than the second which was a petrol. Well worth the effort. We all enjoyed the pool. Would love to come again and we will recommend this villa to our friends.

Das Haus ist gross und ruhig gelegen. Wunderschöne Aussicht. Wir haben einen Pizzaiolo bestellt der uns im Hauseigenen Pizzaofen die Pizza serviert hat. War alles super. Wir würden auf jedenfall wiederkommen. Die Eigentümer sind immer erreichbar und freundlich. Mit dem Internet klappt es nicht so gut. Man hat nicht überall Empfang.

Beautiful villa with large pool and stunning views.

Beautiful villa with plenty of space for a large group. Luigi and Anna we very welcoming and allowed us to leave our luggage there as we arrived early before the preparations were finished. There was also a spread of Italian pastries ready for our arrival and a bottle of Prosecco which was a lovely gesture. The kitchen had a good range of crockery and utensils although a larger oven would have been better for such large groups. All the bedrooms were spacious but not enough clothes storage or mirrors in some . There was only air conditioning on the top landing which meant leaving doors and windows open at night which not everyone was comfortable with . We had a small issue with hot water one day , but that was quickly remedied by Luigi and his son Diego who were easy to contact . We spent many fun hours in the pool and the spring board was an extra bonus . The pizza chef recommended by Luigi made the most amazing and good value pizzas in the outside pizza oven . We weren't aware how tricky it would be driving up to the villa along the windy roads and had to take back our large hire car and exchange it for a smaller one. However, spending more time in the lovely villa with the stunning views was certainly no hardship ! we even got a perfect view of the 'blood moon ' and Mars. would definitely recommend.

Lovely traditional Italian villa, beautiful setting, but off the beaten track but adds to character!

Hosts were extremely accommodating and haf an amazing welcome spread for our late arrival incl fruit juices and snacks for kids and bubbly and pastries for adults. We’re availabke throughout our stay for any queries. Property is beautiful and a visit to this area would not be authentic without the winding roads to get there! We comfortably accommodate 8 adults and 6 kids. Would recommend for anyone looking to accommodate large crowd within touching distance of Amalfi coast?m, Pompei, Vesuvius and mozzarella country!

Nice but difficult to drive to

I recommend that if you are staying here you hire small but powerful cars. Our cheap rental cars almost didn't make it up the very steep and narrow roads to the property, and some suffered damage to clutches and on scraping walls. The house has a lovely view and the pool area is great. There is a big pizza oven by the pool which was fun to use. Some of the facilities, for example the showers and the oven in the kitchen need renovating as they don't function well, but it is generally comfortable.

belle propriété, belle vue, bien située, belle piscine. maison fonctionnelle et spacieuse, agréable à vivre avec au premier étage 3 vastes chambres doubles et leurs salles d'eau. Abords spacieux et vaste parking privatif sécurisé. tout est bien entretenu et au calme. certains d'entre nous entendaient des chiens la nuit et certains autres étaient sensibles aux moustiques.

Fantastic villa with a stunning view!!

We were pleasantly surprised when arriving at the villa. The absolute astonishing view at the bay of Salerno was the first to catch our eyes when arriving at the villa. Our families had plenty of room to sleep and also there were enough bathing-facilities. Our sons (5 boys aged from 10 up to 17) couldn’t wait to get into the pool which was more than big enough to satisfy their needs for a good swim. Also the diving board attributed to their fun. During our stay we enjoyed everything the villa had to offer. Plenty of room, a very decent kitchen, good bath-rooms, a very fine pool, extremely beautiful view at the bay of Salerno and a very good starting-point for all of our excursions. We visited the Vesuvius, Pompeii, Paestum, the Amalfi-Coast and the centre of Naples for a visit of the Archaeological Museum. It was such a great place to be that we nearly forgot to visit the town where we stayed, Cava Dei Tirreni. At the end of our week’s stay we went to the centre and we experienced a very pleasant place with lots of nice restaurants and a lovely city centre. Also the supermarket, gas-stations and pizzerias are nearby and easy to get to. After all it was a good holiday and we regretted that we only stayed for a week. Our plans for the next year’s holiday soon were made and we like to come for a next time. If there were minor flaws in our stay at the house it would be the WiFi-connection which soon was overloaded by our kids and their need for the internet but that really was just a minor thing. Overall it is a great house to spend your holiday, with good facilities and a fine atmosphere to relax. The owners are very sympathetic and they make you feel very welcome. We would recommend this villa to everyone who likes to visit more of Italy.

Wonderful Villa

I stayed in this beautiful villa with my friends and family in February, because I had always wanted to visit the Campania region, and above all I wanted to enjoy the peace and tranquility of a detached villa with a lot of nature around and have the Easier to be able to move and visit both the archaeological sites of Pompeii, that cities such as Naples, Sorrento, Paestum, the beautiful Amalfi coast; sin coming in winter and not having enjoyed the very nice and big pool, but I will return again next year and in the summer; a special greeting to the owners, great people, always friendly and helpful. See you soon

Beautiful house in beautiful environment

We arrived in the befinning of august in the villa, with the most stunning view over the town of cava de Tirreni and the sea. The house is fantastic, clean and with a lot of space surrounding it. It is the perfect place to visit all the touristic places in the neigbourhood. Paestum, pompei, the vesuvius and the centre of Naples are all within fifty kilometres. The owners are very kind and had all kind of culinair specialties ready for us incl. A bottle of Proseco. Again thank you very much for a magnificent holiday!
