From hole property you have open view to Klis fortress, Splits bay area, sea and islands which is spectacular especially at night with all the lights in a distance. Because of the location at high position there is a clean air and the nights are pleasant even in the hottest summer days. We are surrounded with lots of must see spots which are easily accessible to explore and definitely our property is going to make you come back each year.
Our location is in a middle of Klis town, and all facility's such: restaurant, caffe, bar, market, post office, bus station, museum, fortress are with in 300 meters reach.
Klis has a rich history; in the 9th century it was the seat of Croatian kings and in that capacity it was the Croatian capital. Because of its prominent position for a long time it was a difficult to conquer fortification. Medieval Klis was the seat of Croatian fighters; Uskoka, against the Turkish and Venetian invaders. In this honor, the last weekend of July, the reconstruction of the live battle at Kliška fortress is held.
If stay local then is no need for a car, and to go explore other sites you can ease use bus or taxi ( to be able to move around more free we still recommend to use car ).
