Highlights: Updated large galley style kitchen with stainless appliances, original hard wood floors throughout house, ceiling fans and window A/Cs throughout, wireless internet, living room with 37 inch Samsung TV, wireless Sony Blue Ray DVD player for streaming movies from the internet, bedrooms each have LCD flat screen TVs with cable. Garage is equipped with 6 beach chairs and 4 adult bikes. The beach is a half block walk up Stenton Place, pick from three great beaches at Stenton, 1st Street or St James to hang at the beach. The Ocean City life guard Station with bathrooms is also located at the boardwalk and 1st which is an added benefit. The house includes 4 beach tags. After the beach, you can kick back on the porch and grill up a nice dinner on the retro grill or head out to one of the local restaurants.
Location: Great location and you can walk or bike to most destinations within 5 minutes. The Boardwalk starts at St. James Place which is one block south of Stenton and a very short walk. There are many other destinations in close proximity for eating out or if you have a simple grocery need. Some establishments in close proximity include the OC Island Grill and Berranato’s Deli both down the street at 1st and Atlantic, Brown's on the boardwalk at St. Charles, TJ’s Ice Cream and Express Pizza at Atlantic and Battersea, Pessano’s 5 & dime at 3rd and Atlantic, and the Wonderland Rides on the Boardwalk at 5th Street. There are also great full service restaurants with bars in Somers Point which is a short drive north over the Long Port Bridge. Some favorites are the Anchorage, Bahia and Smitty's Clam Bar all on Bay Street in Somers Point. OC Island Grill sells fresh fish and meats that are great for grilling.

About Leslie and Kevin
My husband and I met in Hermosa Beach, California in the early 90's and lived there until 1998 before moving to Seattle, Washington. I'm from Reno, Nevada where we were married and I grew up on the north shore of Lake Tahoe in Tyrolean Village. My husband is from New Jersey and he grew up in Monmouth County. We have three children, our two older kids were born in California, one in Newport and one in Torrance and our youngest was born in Kirkland, Washington. We moved to northern New Jersey in 2001, we lived in Madison for a short period then moved to Chatham where we've lived since 2002.

Why Leslie and Kevin chose Ocean City
We bought this house in 2007. We had looked at this house in 2005 and were intent on buying it but decided to buy the other house we own, listing 134026. At the time this house needed a lot of work and the other house was more attractive. However, this house stayed on the market and we got a great deal in 2007, this house is great and we love the street, it’s one of the best if not the best at the Northend of town. We've had a lot of great times in this house, it’s very cozy and comfortable.
What makes this House unique
This house is the perfect size for a small to medium size family. The house was gut renovated down to the studs immediately after we purchased it and we maintained a lot of the old charm in the renovation. It has a great open layout, everything you need is right there. It has a very relaxing and comfortable environment, plus the large front porch provides a great meeting place for the family. During the days and nights we're down the shore, we spend a lot of time sitting on the porch, talking, reading and relaxing there The house has a really nice and large outside shower, a small rear deck and side yard for grilling. It's in a great location, everything you need is a short walk or bike ride and the beach is very close and the neighbors are really nice. If you want to leave the island for any reason for a day to play golf or go to dinner in AC, Cape May, Somers Point or Long Port, it's very easy from the Long Port Bridge at the north end or the 9th Street Causeway.

Great location in wonderful OC
Our family of 5 enjoyed our off-season stay - the house had plenty of room for us and was so close to the beach and boardwalk. They did a great job of updating the interior, while maintaining the classic beach bungalow style. Would definitely recommend!
We absolutely adore the cottage on Stenton Place. It had everything we needed for a peaceful retreat to the shore. We especially loved riding the cruiser bikes and the location-only a block from the beach and boardwalk. Leslie was wonderful to work with and we are already looking at the calendar to book our next stay.
Loved the location. Close to beach and boardwalk. Quiet neighborhood. Great sitting on the deck reading a book and feeling the ocean breeze. The inside was perfect for our family. Plenty of space and comfortable. And the owners were very accomidating. Thanks.
The best Ocean City Rental
This rental was UNBELIEVABLE!! From the perfect Northend location to the close proximity to the beach to the adorable decorated second floor unit to the charming and spacious front porch to the fully stocked kitchen. You really don't need anything....they have lots of bikes, the kitchen is stocked, beach chairs galore. Did I mention the unit was clean and adorable? I will be back next Summer. So if any prospective tenants are looking for the perfect rental in the perfect area in Ocean City...this is DEFINITELY the one!!!

Perfect beach house!
Our family just returned from a week at the "cozy beach digs" and we loved it! There were 5 of us in total: my husband and I, plus our three kids, ages 9, 6, and 1. When we first got there, we were immediately impressed with how clean everything was and how beautifully the house was decorated. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and there are lots of books and games to keep you occupied on a rainy day. Our kids loved the fact that we could sign in and use our Netflix account for our "popcorn and movie night." They loved curling up together on the very comfortable futon in the living room.
The location of the house is great. There was a very nice playground that the kids loved and it was only a few blocks from the house. We had a very short walk to the beach each morning, which is important when you're toting three kids and all of their stuff! After the beach, the outdoor shower was very convenient to have.
We were able to walk to many area restaurants as well, both on the boardwalk and off. Our favorites included: Brown's and Augie's for breakfast, Berenato's deli and Manco & Manco pizza for lunch, and Hula Grill for dinner. Also, don't miss Aunt Betty's and Hobby Horse for ice cream--both are excellent!
At night, after the kids were in bed, my husband and I sat on the huge front porch and enjoyed the very quiet neighborhood and peaceful sea breeze. We could not have asked for a better experience for our first family trip to Ocean City.
Had a great stay in this OC beach house
My husband and I took our three kids to Ocean City for spring break and stayed in this lovely beach house. It was just a short walk to the beginning of the boardwalk and up to Browns for donuts and coffee in the morning. It was too chilly to spend a lot of time on the beach, so we visited the shops on Asbury Avenue, had some great mexican food at Rojos Tacos, had breakfast with the Easter bunny, and relaxed at the house. The house was clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.
This house is located at the northern end of Ocean City on the 800 block of Stenton Place which is the main beach block. It's a short 5 minute walk to the boardwalk which starts and is accessible one block south of Stenton at St James. The boardwalk runs from St. James, south for approximately 24 blocks or 2.5 miles. The main commercial boardwalk starts at 5th street and runs south to 14th Street.
This area is known as 'North End' just south of 'Garden Section' of Ocean City. This area is nice because everything is close. You can walk or bike to most destinations including the Wonderland rides on the boardwalk at 5th Street. At the same time, you are far enough away from the main activity that it's quiet at night. Ocean City is rated the number one family resort city in the United States by Travel Channel.
