About this property

Historic raised Tybee cottage, very cool, comfortable and oh so Tybee!

Situated on a quiet residential street just a short walk to the beach, restaurants and shopping, with all the feel of a lay-back beach house. There is a screened porch along the front and a great deck complete with palm trees in back. Many of the original details are still there, bead board walls, pine floors, even a claw foot tub. The kitchen is updated and very easy to work in. There are two bedrooms, one with a king and a twin and one with a queen. The fenced in backyard makes it an easy house for children or pets. There is off street parking and lots of room for bicycles and beach toys

With the ocean only a short walk away, its a great home to bring your beach toys, kayaks, fishing gear or just relax with a good book. Tybee Island offers many options for great beach fun.

The Lighthouse is a must along with the Ft. Screvens Museum and the Tybee Marine Science Center. The Tybee post Theatre is a good option for an evening of movies or live performances. The library and YMCA as well as the picnic park and playground are just a short walk away. You can go for a beach walk, check out the dolphins or sea turtles, go fishing off the big Atlantic pier or move around the corner to the back river pier. Kayaks, bicycles, golf carts and surf boards are all available for rent or bring your own. Enjoy Yoga on the beach or maybe set up and paint the wonderful scenes.

We had such an excellent time in this house, it was eclectic and cozy and a short walk from the beach, several restaurants, shops, and churches. Experiencing Tybee Island in such a cozy and unique home was a gift, and Bonnie was a fantastic host with excellent communication! I can’t recommend a nap on that porch swing enough, it was my favorite daily routine on our trip!

Everything about this cottage feels like home. It felt like we were traveling to visit family, rather than staying in a rental. The host is so kind, and there are tons of supplies to make your beach trip something you’ll always remember. Highly recommend staying here with your family!

Very cute, vintage island cottage that's close to everything and very pet friendly. If you want to just relax and stay in, there's a great deck and the property has everything you'd need to enjoy a beach vacation.

Loved this house. I enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, and using the grill. This house is in the perfect location. We love Tybee and this is my favorite area to stay in. The owner was extremely nice and welcoming. My dogs enjoyed their stay too!

This is a great place to stay. An adorable house with excellent AC, close to the beach with beach gear available if needed, ( the beach wagon was essential!). Kitchen is well appointed and that screened in porch became everyone's favorite spot. Highly recommend and we plan to stay again in the future. :)

The location is absolutely perfect and incredibly close to so much,.including a grocery store, restaurants, the beach and the bustling downtown area. The host offers a seamless check-in process and the convenience of bringing multiple pets at no additional fee. The only issue we had was the cleanliness of the place (it was a little dusty, there was a random band-aid, and the grill was rusty) and the beds were not very comfortable (springs were digging into the back). Other than that, the house is very charming and has everything you could possibly need for an extended stay on Tybee Island.

Great Cottage!

We really enjoyed our stay. It's a great house with a really nice screened in front porch and back deck, very convenient to the beach. Our dogs liked it a lot too and Bonnie was really nice and accommodating. We hope to return soon.

We love staying here.

We've stayed at this property many times and it's always relaxing. You cannot beat the location. The street is super quiet and a short walk to the beach access and the IGA.

We came to relax for one last weekend before school starts and see my daughter who lives in Svannah a bit more. It was an easy walk to the beach and a comfortable place to just hang out with our favorite people and pets.

For the past 12 years we have owned and operated a seasonal hotel on Lake Ontario. We sold it recently and retired back home to Savannah. We purchased this home on Tybee Island and would like to share it with others in the same way welcomed and shared our hotel. We hope you will enjoy the Tybee Beach experience in our historic Tybee home.
