We understand how frustrating it can be to encounter these issues during a short weekend trip and we appreciate your patience while those repairs were completed. Regarding the coffee maker, the unit is equipped with a single-serve machine; however, we will recommend that the owner consider adding a conventional coffee maker as well as reviewing the other updates you mentioned.
