Excellent place

It was very nice, I really enjoyed the stay, it was very quiet and relaxing, the house was so nice, it was quiet I would recommend fishful thinking to anyone, a good place for just relaxing and getting away from everything. Looking forward to booking it again.

Great family condo

We really enjoyed our family time at Fishful Thinking and will definitely be back. Micki was very accommodating and quick with responses. The condo had everything we needed, very clean, and the dock was great too. I’m already thinking about our next trip!

Guys weekend.

My husband and son needed a place to stay that was affordable, nice for a guys weekend, and within 30 minutes of the LSU stadium for game day, and we found this one. It had a beautiful view of the lake and was perfect for them for the weekend. They had the bottom floor and it worked great!

Soooooooooooo peaceful!

It was so peaceful and quiet! The pier was my perfect place to hang out and sketch. The unit had everything needed and many extras. I'll be back.

The downstairs until was great, very clean and had everything you needed. Enjoyed the nice deck, with fans and seating. The only part that made it very uncomfortable was the folks renting upstairs. It was constant noise like they were rearranged furniture all day and late at night and keep us up late and then all night. If we were to rent again we would rent the top unit. Or only rent the lower section if no one was renting above.

Enjoyed our visit to False River

Although our stay was very nice and relaxing, parking with a boat trailer was quite challenging due to narrowness of shared driveway. Thank goodness landing is a few doors down. The a/c wasn’t running well during our stay. Fortunately they had a box fan to help cool off the place. Full size bed in room made it difficult to sleep in the first night. Not sure what was going on there. Over all we really enjoyed the place and very convenient to the water.

I apologize about the Inconvenience of the slats on the bed breaking. I sent someone to check on it. On their 3rd trip there you answered the door and said it would be fine until your check out. It is now fixed. Had I been notified of the air conditioner, I would have also sent an A/C guy. The air conditioned has now been serviced. The shared driveway leading to the parking lot is 15ft wide and should be able to accommodate any vehicle and trailer. Im very glad you enjoyed your stay.

Great spot for a group of boys

We have stayed here before. It’s a great location to stay to go to lsu games. Check in is easy. We did find that this time it wasn’t as clean. There was dirt in the sheets and shower had soap scum in the tub. We had a group of guys so it was fine but glad I didn’t have the picky wife with me.

Lake getaway

Beautiful, right on the water. Owner provided kayaks and paddleboard. We didn't use, cool weather. Beautiful pier day and night. Plenty of room.

Great location for our events between New Roads and Baton Rouge. The open floor plan was perfect for visiting. An adorable place to stay with a nice view of False River!

Comfortable space for our larger group. Very clean & well kept. Plenty of parking for cars & boat trailer. Large double deck pier. Definitely an enjoyable trip, looking forward to our next one!
