My family and I had a great time at this rental. It was exactly what we needed for the weekend visiting local family. Bonus that the fish were biting well from the pier. We would happily rent this place again in the future.

Inside was clean and really nice. Was left overs from people before in fridge and in cabinets. Spider webs and wasp nest everywhere. Swim ladder is detaching and falling off of pier. Kind of expensive but all around an enjoyable stay.

Thank you for the review sir. We do apologize for the condiments left in the fridge and have spoken to our cleaning crew. I have addressed the loose screw on the ladder & it works perfectly fine for your next stay. We do our absolute BEST to ensure your stay is perfect and while the critters on many piers seem to be an issue on any lake, we will look for solutions too.

We had such a peaceful stay at your property. Although we only visited for the weekend to attend a wedding in St. Francisville, my family is already dreaming of returning.Everything was exceptionally clean and well-stocked with every necessity. We especially enjoyed the sunroom; it was a wonderful space to cook breakfast and spend time together. Additionally, the pier provided a very relaxing spot to sit and talk on the swings.Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Our state was really fun. We enjoyed fishing off the pier. The most caught catfish, perch, and one small bass. We had a great time and really enjoyed the place.

We were down South Louisiana to go to the Angola Rodeo. There were no children in our group. We did love the dock and some fishing. The enclosed patio was my favorite place especially during the Saturday night storm that came through. Kirk and Daisy thought of everything with this Vyrbo

We look forward to our yearly relaxing time on this beautiful lake. Looking out from the sunroom makes it perfect. The fishing is always exciting and the accommodations perfect.

Last hoorah of the summer

Really enjoyed the property. Everything was clean. Views from pier were excellent. Information about restaurants and grocery store was so very helpful. Spent my birthday weekend with daughters and granddaughters. Made some great memories!!

Labor Day vacation

This property is excellent in every way. From the outside shaded area with the fire pit and covered sitting area to the air conditioned glass patio. We loved the living room…comfortable sofas and large tv. The owners have thought of everything. We have stayed here before and plan on staying here again. Thanks for sharing your place.

Perfect Week-end!

Cypress Soul is a beautiful way to escape, relax and enjoy nature. The property is well-equipped with everything you need and the owner is very easy to work with. Our crew enjoyed the fishing and just being together in this lovely home on the river. Perfect week-end! The owner even went the extra mile to ship something to us that we left behind!! Fabulous, private False River retreat with every amenity & spectacular views! Can’t wait to go back!

My family of four stayed at Cypress Soul for a quick getaway weekend. our experience was a 5-star delight. We had gorgeous views of False River as well as spectacular sunsets and sunrises. We enjoyed relaxing on the covered gazebo while drinking our morning coffee. Kirk and Daisy are the ultimate hosts. Every detail was considered to ensure a fabulous stay. It truly is a home away from home. House Notes: The house and outdoor spaces are very private. The beds are super comfy. The TV above the giant main bathroom tub was definitely a highlight. We loved all of the tech features in the rooms like remotely operated fans and lights, and all of the different hang out room options all of which are outfitted with TVs. Our son said it best: “This is the best camp since sliced bread.” We can’t wait to go back!!

Excellent Place with Perfect LOCATION!

Very relaxing and cozy home to enjoy while making lasting memories with family. Had everything you would ever need. It was like being at home. Very comfortable and allowed me to really unwind and relax and enjoy the rich history around the area and abroad! Communication with owners was great and easy transactions as well. Great place to be and hope to get back there!
