Quiet Retreat from the Chaos

Was a great placed to stay to escape the chaos of a destination family wedding. Was quiet and really enjoyed watching the progress of the tide come in and out of the sound. Loved watching all the birds. Condo had everything we needed for our stay. Close distance to whatever you want to do at the beach. Would stay again.

Lovely Sound

The property was great! I'd noticed another review mentioned of updating the property - this is true, it could use some paint and a few other minor things. Also, on a review it noted the deck was a danger - my husband is a builder, deck is fine but could use a pressure washing. I wanted to note this for others who may be deterred by those reviews. My husband and 17 year old son, fished off of the boat slip, swam had a wonderful time; we loved our stay, and if we're down in the area again will most definitely try to stay again!

Labor Day weekend trip with my college kids

Outdated

My biggest complaint is that the unit is to outdated and uncomfortable. The beds are at least 40 years old. Very uncomfortable. The draperies are old and filled with dust so we had allergy issues that we dont typically experience. The until is not well maintained. It needs a reno. The views were spectacular. But, the deck had rotting wood which we worried might be dangerous.

Beautiful Sunsets

Perfect location for sunsets, privacy, proximity to beach and kayak/paddle boarding. Cordgrass Bay is the best condo rental on Wrightsville! Quiet pool, easy access, low floors, large porches and the best sunsets!

Peace of Mind

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay. Check-in was easy, the rooms were spacious and the view was peaceful. The water bugs were annoying but the pros definitely outweighed the cons. I would be happy to visit again.

Very nice location

Our week was restful. There were several days of rain which was unfortunate. The condo was on the third floor which I did not realize based on the description. We killed several water bugs during our week. The place was clean enough but there were piles of sand on the side table and food on the floor in the kitchen and second bedroom. We very much enjoyed watching the birds come and go from the balcony. Probably will not return due to the 3 flights of stairs.

Roaches poor management

I messaged property manager regarding large mirror falling off wall in living room just days after arriving, was told someone would come out and look at it but no one ever showed up so we were unable to use the living room area due to safety reasons. There were cockroaches running all over condo, inside and out. Very disappointed considering what I paid to stay there

Beautiful view

This is our third stay at Cordgrass and second in this unit. We love this quiet condo community and feel this unit has the best view of the estuary. The place is very clean and well maintained. The only reason I did give 5 stars is because the decor are is dark and dated. It would be nice to have lighter colors and more of a beach feel. We really appreciate the bikes, chairs and electric grill available here. Great family vacation here!

nice location, real concerns

Air conditioner went out first day, not handled well, 3 roaches, seen, bugs in the bathroom. Neighbors report owner is not helpful or liked. Property itself is located well and nice overall. Owner only seems to be doing the minimum. Would definitely not recommend.

Family Trip

We really enjoyed our stay and the location of the condo being a few minute walk to the beach. The sunsets were amazing! The pictures don’t do the condo justice! It was very spacious and clean. We had a couple of unique hiccups but they didn’t take away from our time. My husband’s only complaint was the new king bed mattress was noisy and his feet were off the end of it which is unusual for the size of the bed. Otherwise, we have no complaints and would highly recommend the property to anyone visiting the area!

Wonderful family times at Cordgrass Bay

We had an amazing week in July with our sons, their wives and our grandchildren. Priceless shrimp dinners on the deck with breathtaking sunsets, swimming in the pool, tennis and beach whenever it worked for each family. Thank you for this place that has had such an important part in our family memories. Tara was so responsive and helpful, the new mattress in the master bedroom assured restful nights, just terrific.

Pleasant experience at the beach

The property was clean and linens were provided as advertised. Tara, the property manager, was responsive and pleasant to interact with. We were able to park both cars in front of the condo's garage, but if we had needed another space it would have been tough to find due to ongoing construction trucks, dumpster, trailer taking up spots in the parking lot. I suspect that will be short term, but ended up not being a problem for us. The view from the condo was amazing and we had a very enjoyable experience.

Hello from beautiful Wrightsville Beach! We are Don and Ali!

Ali was born and raised right here at the beach. She spent her childhood summers puttering around the sound in her own little boat with pals. And not much has still loves to spent time on the water with family and friends. Ali enjoys exercise, healthy cooking and family.

Don grew up in Philadelphia but headed south after time in the US Navy. He is an avid fisherman, which is the perfect hobby for someone living on the coast.

Don and Ali both love spending time with their 8 grandchildren.
