Charming beach bungalow with great beach view and easy beach access.

Beach bungalow with great ocean view and beach access across the street. Wrap around deck perfect for watching the sunset and a large backyard with fire pit for evenings roasting marshmallows or hotdogs add to a spectacular visit at Heceta Beach. We now have wifi! First level has a garage that has an air hockey table and beach toys. The second floor is the main living area that has a queen bed in one room along with a twin bed. The second room could sleep up to 3 people also with a double bed on the bottom bunk and a twin on the top. This bungalow has lots of sunlight and great views all around. 15 minute drive to Heceta light house. 30 minute drive to Yachats, 5 minute drive to Florence. Driftwood Shores store and cafe is right in front of bungalow. Easy check in. A key lock box combo will be provided on day of check in when the house is ready for you.

Great Location! Right off the beach and what a great beach. Close to the heart of Florence with tons of great shops and restaurants. Tons of activities nearby. Never a dull moment. Can’t say I’ve had a better time with our grand kids ever. Would repeat.

This was a great little cabin for our family of 5 to use as a home base as we went on adventures in the area. The kids loved having VHS and DVD movies to look through and select. They also discovered the boogie boards and jumped right into the ocean to ride the waves. The walk to the beach was easy and convenient. This cabin is cute, cozy and comfortable. I did wish for a little more shelf space to store the food we brought along. Perhaps something with more shelves next to the refrigerator where the microwave stand is. Thank you for providing a clean and comfortable cabin.

The heater works but sorry to hear you’re disappointed regarding the curtains as barriers. It’s a small home and doors cannot be added to this layout. We’ve looked into and unfortunately it doesn’t work to add them. Hope you enjoyed your stay and the beach!

No tv instructions (multiple remotes), mold in shower, in general old and run down. We hunted a long time to find the wi-fi password which was on the fridge door. Several texts to ask where it was went unanswered. Comfortable living room furniture. Outside needed painting.

Other renters need to know that this house is not a two bedroom. There are two rooms with beds, but they do not have doors, which makes sleeping impossibly difficulty. The description, including pictures, do not indicate that the rooms do not have door’s. We would not have rented if we had known. The house is very old and needs serious maintenance. There is a step to the house that is dangerous, One of the bikes is in poor condition, the door knob is broken on the entry screen door, and the refrigerator light doesn’t work and the refrigerator is terribly rusty. I felt it was unsanitary to put food in there. The ceiling’s are sagging and the floors are not level. The deck is nice, but the railing are unstable. As a former beach rental house owner, I found the condition of this house appalling. It truly should be torn down and definitely not rented. I can guarantee you that the owners would never stay or sleep there.

We really enjoyed staying here. This is our second time and hopefully not the last. Even though there are curtains instead of doors on the bedrooms, we make it work by being quiet when we were up and others are sleeping still. The view is nice!

Great little place!’

Very cute with a great location and view. 5 adults slept well (3 younger adults that could sleep on bunk beds). We were on a large family vacation with some staying at the Driftwood so location was ideal. Just a short drive to downtown and easy beach access. A perfect home base for exploring the area!! We will DEFINITELY be staying here again!!!

Amazing little bungalow

The place is amazing. Beautiful view of the beach and it was walking distance. Close to town. Communication was great and very easy to work with. We will definitely stay here again when we are back in Florence.

We enjoyed our stay! The place was clean and big enough for 3 of us. We loved being able to see the ocean from the picture window , especially facing sunset. Right across the street was beach access. The restaurant also across the street was convenient - delicious flatbread and coffees. Extra wall heaters were great for cold mornings. Washer and dryers clean. Thank you!

Great stay at Heceta Beach

The place was perfect for our family of five. We unfortunately didn't find out about the basement with its laundry and ping pong table until later in our stay; directions could be more clear. Nonetheless we enjoyed staying here, it was comfortable, and we would come back!
