Casa Arroyo Sporting Lodge - Lower Level Only

The entire first floor includes a full brand new kitchen, appliances, large deck, BBQ area, TV, WIFI, pool table and game room. Spacious living area and easy access to our lighted pier and private boat slips. 4 bedrooms and 2 new bathrooms. Central AC- 2 units. 2400 square feet. Sleeps 9-10 comfortably. 2 night minimum *There may be other guests upstairs on level 2*

Room configuration-3 rooms with 2 beds each, one room with 3 beds. All beds are "Full Size". 2 separate new bathrooms with large walk in showers.
We can arrange experienced fishing guides w/boats and private cooks to take care of your meals.

No privacy respect for renters

Upon arrival of the property, the yard grass was tall and tree branches scattered throughout the front and backyard. The following morning, the owner decides to wake everyone up early in the morning by cutting the grass with the lawnmower. Then he decides after he’s done to walk inside with out knocking, saying he needs to check the ac thermostat, and then yells at my guests who were awake at the time complaining about setting the thermostat at a low temperature. The owner also did the same thing to the guests who rented upstairs. I will never rent this place again and I don’t recommend this place to anyone else. Never again 😞

We had issues with the air conditioner in the beginning but Doug had someone come over within an hour to have it fixed. Great house and plenary of room for large group.

Cassa Arroyo 1

Very clean and well maintained. Newly stained and painted. Lovely decks and grilling areas overlooking the Colorado Arroyo River. Great place to relax and fish from. Large well appointed kitchen, lots of seating and a comfy living room area. Owner was very helpful and retrieved items that we needed per our request. Safe area - Adolph Thomae County Park a pleasant place to take a walk or bike.

Nice facilities but not what we expected.

Nice facility but way overpriced. Had to pay extra to cleaning lady to check our bags/groceries etc in early but I agreed to it. Never had to do that at other places in the area. Has a pool table but unable to play very well due to table too close to a wall. One towel and one wash cloth per person. Very little cookware available (pots/pans etc.). Facility does have a big ice machine which is a plus. No washer/dryer for you to use. The biggest turnoff was the presence of the owners and or cleaning lady in the upper level for a large part of our stay. Not that we were going to be destructive or anything but it is not too fun when you feel like someone is watching over you all of the time. Even though we had it rented for three nights, we only stayed two. We couldn't park in the driveway due to the owners constantly needing in/out. Needless to say, this type of rental is not for us. Lesson learned. The owner (lady) was very nice. The trip just wasn't very fun or relaxing but was very expensive to not have the privacy as expected. To add to the disappointment, two of our three boats experienced problems the last day. With that and the above mentioned, it was time to leave.
