Fantastic place! Amazing views while you relax on the huge deck areas. Great location close to town but views like you are secluded in the mountains. Good, comfortable beds and furniture. Overall highly recommended.

our second time here. property works well for multi generational family vacation with dogs. Great views from two decks. Main floor does not have any stairs so convenient for people who wish to avoid stairs. Well furnished. We'd book this property again.

Thank you so much for this 5-star review. We really appreciate you being a customer and helping to share the word about us. We’re here for you anytime.
Wonderful cabin with gorgeous views from two decks. Perfect set up for muligeneration gathering-
We loved our stay at Robin's Nest. It was beyond lovely and the neighborhood herds of Elk were huge entertainment for us. We've never been in the middle of so much natural animal activity. The cabin is lovely and the set up perfect for the young ones to have a separate space downstairs and their own gorgeous deck. Thank you so much for introducing us to beautiful Ruidoso in such a wonderful way. We'lll be back for sure!

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback with us. It means so much when our best customers share their experiences.
I thought the house looked cute on VRBO. It looks even better in person. I like the layout, the decor and the kitchen. The porches are great, the view can’t be beat. Ruidoso is such a nice friendly town. The Asada mini tacos at Garcia’s Cafe were delicious! The downstairs shower needs a non slip mat. I’m not used to soft water, and the soap made the floor super slippery. But all else was great.

The location and the views are phenomenal, the house is very dated including the furniture and window dressings. The chairs surrounding the dinner table are awful to sit on. The chairs are all in poor disarray and every one of them lean to the side or tip forward sliding you off the chair. They seem to be bent. The beds are extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. I felt like I was sleeping on the floor on the king bed. The kids beds were the same. The listing states game room, yet no games were to be found. The TV upstairs were tried to watch a movie one night and it kept flickering in and out. At first I thought it was the satellite so we switched to watching a movie through the HDMI cable online and the TV continued to block out so I thought well maybe it’s the cord so I switched the HDMi cable and the TV still had issues. The bathroom tiles in the shower are in dire need of repair and replacement. I am pretty sure there is major water damage behind the tiles. Lots of heavy use of silicon caulking in the showers to prevent the ester damage but too late. Loose tiles that need to be fixed. The kitchen doors have just about every appliance and utensils needed to cook and manage. Overall the place is just ok but could be a huge potential if there would take care of the place.

This house was great except for a few issues which overall left us disappointed in the stay. I chose this house for our family because it was close to town, had great reviews for cleanliness, had a hot tub and a beautiful view. The view was gorgeous and wonderful to wake up to every morning. Just beautiful! The house was clean aside from the oven which set off the fire alarm the first night we attempted to cook because of the amount of old food left in the oven. I ended up having to clean the oven so we could use it. The hot tub never worked and was finally fixed the day before we left, but we were unable to use it because it couldn't heat up in time. We had some great laughs and family time with the games provided and Ruidoso was a charming, beautiful place to visit. We were disappointed in some things the house was lacking and it did not come through as promised.

Hi Bethany! I have looked into your reservation and do see that we were able to compensate you for the inconvenience of the hot tub not working. We deeply apologize for the things that were missing and hope that the refund was able to make up for it even just a bit! I am happy to see that there were some positives from the stay, please contact us if there is anything we can do in the future to help with the next stay!
House was wonderful and views spectacular! We chose this house due to its comfy atmosphere and it did not disappoint. Close to town for easy access while also being far enough away to enjoy the quiet. The host was responsive when I had any questions or concerns. Easy check in and out. 10/10 would recommend.

Amazing Mountain View’s from a comfortable balcony.
The house was great. Master bedroom and bath on the main floor. Two bedrooms and bath downstairs. Nice balcony downstairs. We did not use the hot tub. The balcony is fabulous on the main level. We loved eating out. The solar shades are a wonderful addition. We had our mini-schnauzer. The walks were difficult on the mountain. No grass. But we just drove to our favorite walking places..Rio Ruidoso trail buy Visitor Center, The Links, Nature Trail by Ranger Station, and Alto Lake. Albertsons is 5 minutes down the mountain. We couldn’t use the fire place and Condotel didn’t get back to us. Loved watching the hummingbirds, the elk, and wild horses. A lovely, comfortable home. When we arrived, there were pumpkins greeting us at the front door Jacque

It sounds like you had an amazing time, and we hope you'll return soon to make even more memories. We have also installed a brand-new hot tub that will be waiting for you when you return.
Robins Nest is a clean, roomy(yet, so cozy), with a breathtaking view of the mountains, cabin. Location is convenient & includes access to their garage. With dogs, this a plus. Parking is easy & to be honest I love the fact that it has more doors than it does walls. lol Wonderful experience with Vrbo as well.

We were able to have a small family gathering here. Perfect size for 6. House has all the essentials and very comfy and clean. Best part is the views from inside and patio with no houses behind. Would definitely rent again. Thank you!

We appreciate you recommending Robin's Nest, and we look forward to your return visit!
CONS: Kitchen not well stocked so make sure you bring oil, spices, flour, sugar etc...
Bricks loose front of house. Hit my husband on the head causing a bump. Bricks on some areas held together with bungee cords. Contacted management.
Pool table was small and rickety. Snooker type.
PROS: Plenty of towels and blankets. Hot tub worked wonderfully. Great views and location. Parking decent. Fireplace awesome. Plenty of room for six.
