Property was amazing. Quiet and very serene. We brought our dog and the property was very pet friendly. Lots of area to walk around with pets and tucked back from road. House is well appointed with kitchen supplies for cooking at home and having laundry was fantastic as we did lots of hiking and outdoor activities. Host communication was great. Loved the blankets and slept amazing during our stay. Enjoyed the deck on three sides of the house even in the winter.

Nice to hear you enjoyed our log cabinn nestled back in the red pines. Yes we hear the pets enjoy it also.
A beautiful rustic cabin that was exactly what I was looking for. Close to the trail system and not too far from town. A great experience. Thanks, Barry
A perfect place to spend a quality vacation! Remote enough to enjoy outdoors time while close enough to town to have access to shopping and dining options. We were able to go on great hikes in the area during the day and relax in comfort at this cozy cabin at night. Definitely a great stay :)
Great location, cabin was clean. Lots of sleeping space. Property was great for our lab.

The house is amazing!!! Beautifully decorated log cabin with sauna and a great view. We were up for graduation and were very grateful that the driveway was plowed several time. Will definitely be back. Very relaxing and would be a great place to retire!!
We loved our stay in the woods! The location was perfect to explore the Keweenaw Peninsula, and the cabin was private and cozy to come back home to. The cabin decor was fun and unique, it had lots of charm and characteristics, and everything you could need for a comfortable stay.

Glad to hear you enjoyed our area and our cozy Cabinn.
The Cabinn was a 5-year project with our family. Started out looking at many log home magazines and taking many ideas and crunching them to size to fit into a cabin. All the red pine logs come from our property.
Our family enjoyed our stay! The cabin was private, but not far from the things we needed and wanted to do. It was highly decorated an comfortable. We enjoyed grilling on the back porch in the evenings after long days of outdoor activities nearby like hiking to waterfalls and exploring beaches. And the owners were very quick to respond to questions.

Gland you enjoyed our area and our Cabinn! remember we have 3 other seasons to enjoy in the Keweenaw Peninsula.
Kitchen had everything you would need to cook meals. We used the gas grill . Very convenient. Lovely setting. Quiet and private . Great for hiking with our dog on nearby ORV trails. Fire pit on property.
This cabin was fantastic. It was located perfectly to all the places we wanted to visit Our pups enjoyed the privacy and trail to run on as well. Only thing I missed on a vacation from home was a dishwasher and a TV in the bedroom. Would definitely stay again.
The cabin is really nice. Everything was clean and worked. Nice some what secluded property. Close to a lot trails and other things to do.

Why they chose this property
This was a family project building this Log Cabin, which may someday be our retirement home. It all started with the farmer living on this land 45 years ago planning 8 acres of red pine. Those high standing red pine (44 out of 800)are now laying sideways making up the walls of the Log Cab-Inn.
