Mountain Frog Cabin - A.C./Sleeps 2/Hot Tub - 30 min. from Rainier/Skiing

A charming whimsical retreat in the High Valley community of Packwood, WA. - this retreat is close to Mount Rainier providing countless hiking opportunities; nearly out of the back door! Cowlitz River access is just across the road and a small walking distance away. There are many dvd movies to watch, CDs for listening & books to read. Build a campfire, look at the stars, read a book, or just enjoy the elk walking by. The house sleeps 2 (Queen bed), 1 on a sofa (if you wish but it is not a hide-a-bed). I love decorating so every room has special touches to make it homey and comfortable. If you are looking for sterile plain surroundings this is not the place for you. It has been decorated as my very own home and it is comfortable warm and inviting! I love Packwood and I love the mountains! Use of the seasonal community country club - pool swimming and golf are available upon request (time allowing for permission slips).

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this sweet home. It was the relaxing vacation we needed and were pleasantly surprised by the large flea market taking place while we were there. Shannon is a wonderful and thoughtful host, even kept the heater on for us since it was cold. Looking forward to our next stay here :)

The cabin was accommodating, cozy, and for the price, a very reasonable distance from Mt Rainier National Park. When I had trouble finding the key, the host was extremely helpful and attentive.

The cabin had everything we needed for a holiday stay and to make a holiday meal. It's a great location to get to the mountain. It's a good size for two. The hot tub was wonderful at the end of the day.

We had a wonderful stay. Check in was easy and cabin was fully stocked with whatever you’d need. We got in late and left early. But had we stayed longer, the outdoor deck seemed perfect for hanging out. Would not hesitate to stay again!
