En charmig retrÀtt utanför Packwood, WA. NÀra Mount Rainier och vandra nÀstan ut genom bakdörren! FlodÄtkomst över vÀgen ner ett litet gÄngavstÄnd bort. Jag har medvetet INTE internet- eller kabel-tv. Denna bergsplats Àr skapad för att koppla ur kontakten. Jag har mÄnga DVD-filmer att titta pÄ och mÄnga CD-skivor för lyssnande och böcker att lÀsa. Bygg en lÀgereld, cykla, titta pÄ stjÀrnorna, lÀsa en bok, se Àlgen gÄ förbi. Huset sover 2, 1 pÄ soffan om du vill, men det Àr inte en gömstol. Jag Àlskar att dekorera sÄ att alla rum har speciella detaljer för att göra det hemtrevligt och bekvÀmt. Om du letar efter steril slÀtt miljö Àr detta inte platsen för dig. Det har dekorerats som mitt eget hem och det Àr bekvÀmt varmt och inbjudande! Jag Àlskar Packwood och jag Àlskar bergen!

We had a pleasant stay at Mountain Frog cabin. Clean and comfortable with lots to look at. We were in the area exploring Olympic National Park.

A very quiet and homey location right next to the river. Very clean interior and already had toys ready for the dogs. A great listing for a couple to get away into the mountains.

The property was lovely and the owners aesthetic super cute. The property is well stocked. We made use of the grill and enjoyed watching movies when not out at the national park. Overall great stay.

Our stay was great, clean and cozy. A bit off the beaten path but easy to find. The AC worked great would stay here again.

Very quiet peaceful getaway just a few miles outside of packwood. Close to the river. Very walkable. Everything you could ask for is provided love the full kitchen.

Awesome little hideaway

While this place is small that did not hinder us one bit! Loved the quietness and quick access to get to Mt Ranier NP. Our dog loved playing frisbee in the fenced in back yard. If we ever are back on the area we will not hesitate to stay again!

Very quaint and peaceful

This was the second time we stayed here and we love how peaceful it is. Only issue we had was the checkin instruction included the wrong code yo access the keys. We didn't have good reception and it was hard to get in touch with someone. But we were finally able to reach the owner Shannon and she gave us the correct code to access the key. Kinda stressful after a long drive. Otherwise all was great.

Loooove staying at Shannon’s! Incredibly comfortable bed and furniture, extremely practical and thought out, very playfully decorated , and creative, fun outdoor space to enjoy all the birds, butterflies, hummingbirds that spend time in the yard. So nice to have a quiet spot to return to and would go daily to the river access spot just a couple houses down.

Super cute and comfortable

The property was well decorated, felt like home. The owners had everything we needed including bathroom products and charging cables for our devices. I love the patio area. I was able to see a hummingbird my first evening there. We enjoyed our walk around the neighborhood the first evening, unique homes around the area and very peaceful. WeI well definitely rent again. Thank you for allowing us to stay on your beautiful property.

1bdrm stairway to hesven

Everything about this property was perfect. Tucked away in the woods, yet a 10min drive from the downtown packwood area, this property was a great location. Also a good proximity for hiking mt. Rainier at around 75mn drive from paradise or sunrise visitor centers. The place itself was incredibly comfortable, clean and well setup with a large (and well stocked!) kitchen and living room. Both the bed and couch were so comfortable. The patio was prime for watching the sunset as well. All in all a very well thought out property by the owner that made staying there something special.

A Gem!

For once the pictures under rated the property. We found this property to be much more spacious than we expected. Everything was clean and roomy and the kitchen was well stocked with essentials. The front patio was a wonderful place to enjoy devotions and coffee in the morning while being entertained by hummingbirds and a mama robin and her three babies. The yard was nice although the evening mosquitoes and our Mt. Rainier hiking fatigue kept us from using it very much. The short walk to the river front is a must see and the proximity to Mount Rainier was just what we wanted. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing!

First of all pictures do not do this place justice! It is adorable, in fact, I messaged Shannon to say we arrived & told her we would NOT be leaving! She has decorated it so cute & made use of every space! She has everything you need or could possibly want. The outdoor space is just as special as the indoor, nice fire pit which we enjoyed both nights. Nice comfy seating on the deck, even a hammock to hang in. It is so quiet & peaceful with beautiful mountains in the background. A 5 minute walk to a beautiful area to just sit & soak up the beauty. Very convenient for visiting Mt. Ranier also. Elk roam the area! We hope to return & stay a week, this was not our last visit!!! Thank you, Shannon for sharing your slice of paradise!!

We had a wonderful stay. Check in was easy and cabin was fully stocked with whatever you’d need. We got in late and left early. But had we stayed longer, the outdoor deck seemed perfect for hanging out. Would not hesitate to stay again!

This place is so cute and clean. Important things to me are clean, big coffee pot, water pressure, adequate dishes, comfy bed, and an easy to work remote. Everything was great. It was a quick drive to the Mount Rainier Stevens Canyon entrance. The host was super responsive.

Great location, has everything you need!

This was the most well-stocked VRBO I’ve stayed at! Anything you needed was available. It’s located in a great spot to access both Paradise & Sunrise in Mt. Rainier. Very quiet neighborhood!

This property was an F - FABULOUS! Truly, heaven on earth. Not only was it a peaceful retreat, but had everything we needed. The owner was very communicative, the place was spotless and we relished all her delightful decorations. This adorable place surpassed our expectations. Don’t stay anywhere else.

New Year's 2023

Great little spot! Perfect for our little pack. We had friends staying at other rentals in the area but ours was perfect for us to ring in the new year together. My husband is a great chef & managed to create a 4 course dinner for 6 people. Nicely pointed kitchen, & just enough space to have cocktails & play some charades. Only bummer is that there wasn't a fire pit but other than that, GREAT STAY & highly recommend!
