Yacoubian, Jr. has a Master’s Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice, a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice Management, a J.D. from the Rutgers University School of Law, and an LL.M. in Transnational Law from the Temple University School of Law. He has more than 20 years of practice in the criminal justice field, including the past ten years as a practicing attorney. George devotes much of his free time to his three girls (Liliana, Sophie, and Tessa) and his volunteer commitments. In the fall of 2005, he founded the Society for Orphaned Armenian Relief (SOAR) ( a 501(c)(3) organization that provides humanitarian relief to orphaned Armenian children living in Armenia, Artsakh, Istanbul, Javakh, Lebanon, and Syria. In the fall of 2017, George founded Turkey Taxi, Inc. ( a 501(c)(3) organization that provides hot meals and care packages on Thanksgiving to the homeless living on the streets of Philadelphia.
