Excellent location and nice unit!

Property is in a secluded location, which we liked because it didn’t sit right off the main road. The accommodations were very nice, and as stated in the listing. The view from the balcony was also nice. Property is not far from the local grocery stores or downtown (car is needed). The hot tub is in the club house along with a sauna. The staff there was nice and welcoming. We had to make reservations to use the hot tub which we appreciated since it’s shared with the other guests. The sauna, hot tub, and the rest of the facilities were clean! Lots to do and see in the area and surrounded areas....Tulum for example. Excellent communication and A+ plus customer service from the owner, David and property manager Rueben. If you are looking for a place to stay in Playa del Carmen, this is the place to rent. You won’t be disappointed.

Nice but would get different condo

the location was perfect. The condo was sufficient. It needs some serious updates. The mattresses are old (we had to flip ours over), the linens are very tired. Our 1st night the sheets already looked like someone slept on them. The pots and pans do not look healthy to cook on. We bought our own pan and some towels for our month long stay. We would definitely return but would look for a different condo that is more updated. Also, the dishwasher was very rusty and some of the interior parts had fallen of.

Efficient Condo

We spent the month of March in David's Playa del Carmen unit. We had a pleasant time and enjoyed the region. We did have several issues during our stay but all were dealt with reasonably well by our concierge who got us using WhatsAp as his preferred method of communication. Upon reflection, the primary suggestion we offer is to revamp the bedding as the master did not have fitted sheets (the flat kept coming undone) and the pillows were very soft and lifeless. We purchased two firm pillows as a good night's sleep is a priority for us. Also, the binder should be updated regularly to reflect current information.

Wonderful Vacation in Playa del Carmen

David's home is exactly as shown in the pictures. The complex and the condo were upscale, well-maintained, quiet, and secure. The the amenities (pools, gym, beach club, golf, etc.) were wonderful. We also enjoyed visiting the many attractions in the surrounding area; 5th avenue is a short 10 minute drive away. Ruben, David's concierge, was great. He was a phone call away, answered all of our questions, and provided us with great service. And, he was available 24/7. We loved it so much, we are looking forward to returning next year! Thanks David and Ruben for a great stay!

Nice spot for a relaxing vacation

The condo complex is a very well maintained facility with a gorgeous pool area. (Actually several beautiful pool areas) The main pool area had plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas for use which was never a concern as we were often the only ones at the pool so we had our pick. The rooftop pool was being maintained while we were there but looked very comfortable. There is a nice a/c gym which was used a few times and the equipment is well maintained. There was plenty of parking available if we had rented a car. We chose to rent bikes and found that a convenient way to get around as the complex is quite a distance from 5th Ave. There is a Beachclub available within a 20 minute walk or you can get a golf cart ride at the security gate right at the compex. The only problem with this is they stop the golf cart access at 5pm so if you are after that you may need to take a taxi or take the walk. We went to the Beachclub one day but found the pool at the complex much more enjoyable and convenient and spent most of our days there. As far as the condo goes, it is a very nice unit, also well maintained with nice sized bedrooms and a reasonable size kitchen/dining and living room. The beds were very comfortable and bathroom facilities very modern, roomy and clean. There is also a nice sized balcony which was were we spent most of our time when we were at the condo. There was 2 couples in our party and there was seating for 6 both at the dining table and on the balcony. The kitchen is a bit crowded with 2 people in it but has all the amenities you need to cook your own meals. We did find the upstairs barbeque area inconvenient so we bought our own little briquette barbeque and used it on the patio.The only other thing that could be added was a nice carving knive and chef's knife for cutting up vegetables. Overall a very comfortable suite. Gabby is the manager and she was very accommodating. When we arrived, she was there to great us and show us around the facility and the condo. She also had a loaf of bread and a few groceries available on arrival which is great after a long travel day. She was available throughout our stay whoever we needed her and even drove us around town one day as she "was going that way anyway". Very accommodating! We would definitely rent again as the owner David always responded quickly as we were booking the unit and Gabby was a very good resource once we were there. Highly recommended.

We looked at a number of options in Playa del Carmen and outside. But Nick Price offered us so much more than anywhere else we looked. Great design, fabulous facilities, including 3 swimming pools and great sporting facilities in and around the golf course. 10 minutes from downtown Playa del Carmen, the Apartment offers a tranquil and beautiful location, with the 5a Avenida with all its bars and restaurants and activities, just a sort drive away.
