White Pine Inn at Sunset Lake

Rental Info for Summer 2023:
We give our current renters first opportunity to book their week for the following summer. Renters have one week after they check out to decide. If they do not re-rent, then we will open up that week. To be added to our waiting list please send us an inquiry with your dates and we will add you to the list. We require a week long stay during the summer months.

Rental Info for spring, fall, winter: We require a two night minimum.
Summer (June-August): one week minimum

Stay at this gorgeous, spacious, log cabin home on Waupaca's beautiful Chain O' Lakes! Located on the northeast shore of Sunset Lake, you will enjoy the peace of a no-wake lake, yet you have easy access to a fast lake located adjacent to Sunset. With breathtaking views, hard sandy frontage perfect for swimming, and plenty of room for multiple families, you will enjoy the comfort of this well kept home. 2 kayaks, one paddle board, and one Maui Mat are included with rental. Pontoon boat on-site available for rent. 7 night minimum required during summer months (June-August) with Sunday to Sunday rental. Slightly higher rates apply for holiday weeks. 2 night minimum rest of season. Cleaning fee and a security deposit are required.

This is an exceptional property. The home is spacious and well appointed with a spectacular view of Sunset Lake, one of the best lakes on the Chain O' Lakes in Waupaca. Mandy and Shaun were very helpful on communication. This rental exceeded our expectations on every level. We plan to stay again next summer.

Everything was perfect. Great views, super kid friendly. It was a huge plus to have two bedrooms (bunk room & 1Q) that were very much separate from the living space. We were able to put the kids down and enjoy our evening without waking the kids.

Great location

We loved the location - close to Waupaca and King. The cabin has a great layout with the open kitchen, large dining room and living room. The sunroom was nice to sit and relax and enjoy the view. Communication was excellent. Minor complaints would be poor quality toilet paper and liquid soap, and tubs need new caulk. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and recommend the property.

Hard to find better hosts or a better property to vacation at than this one! The house was very spacious with comfortable beds and privacy between rooms. Kitchen is well stocked for all your cooking needs and located only a short 1 mile drive into town. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with family at White Pine Inn!

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this property! Everything was immaculately maintained and thoughtfully stocked—from the kitchen essentials to outdoor gear, it was clear the owners take great pride in the home. Every appliance worked perfectly.The pontoon boat was a major highlight—big, clean, and really nice. It made exploring the lake and spending long, relaxing afternoons on the water effortless and fun.One of the most memorable parts was the crystal-clear water right off the dock. You could literally see the lake bottom 4 feet down—it felt like something out of the Caribbean or Hawaii!Couldn’t recommend this place more.

I had wonderful memories growing up renting cottages on the Chain with my family. My parents moved to the Chain when I was in college, and I waited tables at Clear Water Harbor for three summers. The area became a second home to me. With a family of our own now, we wanted our own kids to have the same kind of memories.
