attention : descriptif trompeur, note inadaptée.escalier raide et étroit en colimaçon de 60 marches en pierres pour accéder au logement situé au 5ème étage. Ce seul critère ne convient pas à tout le monde.boite à clefs située dans un cagibi sans lumière. le code transmis pour la boite à clefs était erroné, on a du le réclamer par téléphone. coin cuisine sale (gras sur la hotte, vaisselle sale, intérieur du four sale, intérieur du micro-ondes sale, intérieur des tiroirs sale, robinetterie et cuve évier sales et calcaires). dossier de chaise cassé. pas de piles dans les horloges. tringles dessoudées du mur. bloc prises coin cuisine dessoudé du mur (prise béante située au dessus de la bouilloire branchée). fuite goutte à goutte sur le parquet de la chambre. manque cache piles sur la telecommande tv. couette tachée et trop petite pour la dimension du lit, oreillers quasi inexistants et pas assez nombreux, prises difficilement accessibles dans le logement et pour certaines inutilisables. parking public inadapté. nous sommes partis le lendemain de notre arrivée alors que nous avions réservé 4 nuits.

Beaune visit

The property was very good, well appointed and right in the centre, which we wanted. And comfortable. We enjoyed our stay in Beaune, which was a new area for us. I think we managed to fit in a lot during our time there. Beaune and it’s history is fascinating. However we were not prepared for the access, which was more than 60 steps up a narrow mediaeval, and steep staircase. We thought we were reasonably fit for our age, but I would recommend future clients ensure that their luggage is light, and minimal. We feel that VRBO was less than honest with their description, or lack of it! HOWEVER, I must say that our hosts were most helpful at the beginning, and made it possible for us to stay in their pleasant apartment.

Great location!

Very central so great for sightseeing, restaurants and cycling in the vineyards. Enjoyed having a kitchen to cook with food from the excellent local shops and the Saturday market. As mentioned staircase is very steep and winding. Pack lightly!

Well situated flat

Overall the flat was really nice - well furnished and great for 2 persons. However having a toilet that leaked heavily from 2 different places and landlords who did not in anyway respond to messages from us for 3,5 days is unacceptable . We left one day early for the same reason.my husband was able to minemize the damage - but really not his job on a vacation

Great location

We really enjoyed our stay here. It's minutes walk from the downtown center of Beaune and was a very spacious unit. As mentioned in several reviews, the stairs up are reminiscent of an old castle staircase, what you would expect in a home of this age in Beaune, so if you can't stand to carry your bag up stairs, it wouldn't be for you. We are middle-age and healthy so we had no issue. I would definitely stay at this unit again.

Alles wunderbar

Bis auf die nur dürftig ausgestattete Küche war alles wunderbar. Und die war gut zu verkraften, da jede Menge guter Lokale fußläufig zu erreichen waren.

Interessante Wohnung mit kleine Mängeln

Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral in der Altstadt von Beaune und ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Allerdings ist die Ausstattung mit Geschirr nicht zufrieden stellend. Jeweils nur 4 Teller (z.T. angeschlagen), Messer etc., so dass wir nach fast jeder Mahlzeit abwaschen mussten. Zudem fanden wir die Wohnung für einen längeren Aufenthalt als ungeeignet, da es keine Kleiderschrank gibt und wir aus dem Koffer leben mussten. Die Treppe zur Wohnung ist sehr steil, so dass wir bei An- und Abreise Schwierigkeiten mit dem Gepäck hatten. Als großes Manko empfanden wir die Geruchsbelästigung aus dem Abfluss der Dusche. Offensichtlich sind hier Fehler bei der Installation passiert, keine Entlüftung der Abwasserleitung über Dach? Trotz dieser Kritikpunkte hat uns die Gegend sehr gut gefallen und wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub.

Nice quiet location

Property is as advertised. Spacious and close to the city center. Quite the set of stairs to get your luggage up! View was lovely and building was quiet. Don’t miss the patisserie Marie Simon nearby — hands down the best.

Aufenthalt Mai 2022

Die Lage der FeWo ist perfekt - sie liegt in Fussnähe zu den zentralen Plätzen in Beaune, aber doch ruhig in einer Gasse. Die FeWo ist top ausgestattet - es fehlt nichts. Sie ist sehr grosszügig und liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Spacieux, calme et reposant

Un petit nid douillet "haut perché"... Au dernier étage d'une bâtisse typique en pierre, avec vue sur les monuments illuminés en soirée. Une parenthèse reposante dans un logement spacieux et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. L'emplacement est idéal pour visiter Beaune. Les propriétaires sont aux petits soins. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Lovely apartment in Beaune

Beautiful apartment situated in the heart of Beaune. Very clean and comfortable. Lots of steps up to the top of the building, so you need to be fairly fit!

Just as seen in photos

This property was absolutely beautiful and equipped with everything one would need. The owners were quick to respond and gave some wonderful suggestions about dining. A stones throw away, you can find various bars, cafes, and small stores for wine tasting. The only thing to note regarding the property is it requires quite a climb up steep stairs. Also, the toilet closet is quite small so if you are tall things can get complicated. Despite this, we highly recommend this property.

Lovely apartment in Beautiful Beaune

This apartment is the perfect base for a trip to Beaune. It’s in an old -17th Century! - building, it has been tastefully, and seemingly fairly recently, renovated in a way that highlights and embraces the history. The views over the town are lovely and a definite reward for the climb up all those stairs! The owners responded promptly to all my emails and were very accommodating when we needed to add another couple of nights. We have really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it to anyone coming to Beaune.

Beautiful apartment

My wife and I had an overall nice stay. The apartment is just like pictures and is spacious. It is located in a great part of town with great views of the church. It is a very charming apartment. The hosts are very responsive and friendly. The downside is that the amenities state there is air conditioning and upon arrival there is not. Most of the year you may not need this but in the summer and in particular when we were here in September it was much needed. If the property had air conditioning I would give it five stars but due to the VRBO stating A/C and not having it I would downgrade them. The hosts did state they would give us a night free if we returned again but unfortunately we don't live in France and have a very low likelihood of returning anytime soon.

Charmant appartement !

Bel appartement à la décoration soignée et épurée dans lequel ou nous nous sommes sentis à l’aise. La vue sur les toits est sympa! Emplacement idéal . On reviendra à coup sûr Beaune est une ville où il fait bon flâner.
