Check in was great .. communication with property owner was awesome. The inside furniture was a little different. Meaning a great couch .. but it was very cold outside so very limited time we could have outside in the winter time… so if you didn’t get you a spot on the couch to hunker down to watch a movie .. your back and butt will not be happy. It had a great view and the stream was beautiful but shallow. No fishing in the deeper areas during our stay allowed .. water was shallow in our accessible area. Beds was comfortable and porch was as well during the day … night time in December was cold !! lol but the wildlife was wonderful viewing !

The stay was spot on. Excellent communication, stellar cleanliness and what a location. The yard and creek just wow. Close but far away enough from town. Hope to visit again soon.

The most we enjoyed about this location it was a very quiet relaxing place to relax and enjoy the creek out front and a continuous flow of deer roaming through the yard each day. I will definitely be re booking in the future

Weekend getaway

Private country setting with a stream running in the back of the property. Sitting in the screened in porch, listening to the rain, watching the deer run by… it was beautiful and very relaxing.. will book again!

Perfect Getaway

Awesome Getaway

This private getaway was so peaceful and quaint. The serenity I felt was awesome. We saw a bear, a beaver, a crane, deers just to name a few. I also got the chance to see a hay baler in action. The decor of the cabin and its furnishings were so unique. I wish I wish I could have stay longer. This was our 2nd time visiting this location and we will definitely be back next year.

A little piece of heaven

This cabin was in a quiet secluded location, The creek was everything my grandson hoped it would be. .He even caught a fair size rainbow trout. The host, Clifton, was a great communicator.

Blue Ridge Cabin

This is a great place for a visit to the Blue Ridge region. We stayed for 4 days and were able to do bike rides on both the Blue Ridge Parkway and the New River Bike Trail, go for several hikes and attend a great concert by the Steep Canyon Rangers at the Blue Ridge Music Center. The cabin is about 1 mile from Route 58 on a quiet side road. The cabin itself has anything you might need during your stay and everything was clean and in good working order. We, and our dog, very much enjoyed the large open area and the running stream behind the cabin. This was our second stay here and will try to stay here again when we next visit the area.

Great location!

Wonderful location. We took our dogs and fished in the river on the property. We love bringing our bikes in the summertime.. it is a quick drive to the new river trail.

Perfect!

Fantastic, private and well suited. We had everything we needed. Had to sleep separately as my husband is 6'5 and takes up the WHOLE bed, but I slept the best I have in weeks as a result! Our pups were entertained by the wildlife through the window. Deer at every glance, saw a stunning fox as well. Went to Floyd for the Friday night Jamboree, missed the REX theatre Friday night concert, make sure you don't! Great weather for November. Hiked all over. Great time! Thanks!

We continue to enjoy this jewel tucked away in the mountains. Super close to water activities and biking the New River Trail. The leaves were peak! Clifton is super easy to work with. Highly recommend.
