Location, Location, Location Awesome!

  • 5 of 5

OMG Where to begin? This house is located walking distance to anything. We were able to walk to everywhere we needed to go, we never felt the need to use our van. We rented a minivan since we were many people and at first we were afraid that we would surpass the amount of mileage allowed. Well, we brought the van back with still 400 km available. (we live in Canada)

As for the house itself, what you see on the net looks good but what you get is...AMAZING! It is HUGE, beautiful and comfortable (everyone had their own space when they needed it) and we all felt like we were living in luxury. The owners are so sweet too. They gave us all the information we were looking for to make our stay easier. I recommend this house, it was an amazing experience. Satisfaction guaranteed!

Beautiful, clean, spacious retreat

  • 5 of 5

We love returning to the Heart of Provincetown every year. The house is clean and spacious. The wifi is great. It's a short walk to the center of Commercial Street and either end of Commercial Street is an easy stroll. The street is normally quiet during the day and extremely quiet at night.

Great House in a Perfect Location

  • 5 of 5

This was the second time that my husband and I rented this house. On this trip, we invited 4 of our friends to join us (their first time in Ptown). The house is in a great location. You can easily walk or ride your bike to shops, bars, etc. The grocery store and liquor store (most important) is a short walk down the road. Could not ask for a better house for a group of friends to stay in Ptown. The price was reasonable too. Brian and Carl were very responsive to any questions we had prior to arriving. We all decided to return again! Our friends stated that this was one of their best vacations.

Awesome house and centrally located in Ptown

  • 5 of 5

This was our 31st year coming to Ptown, and our 5th year staying at spacious Heart of Provincetown during Carnival week. The house is well-appointed and in a quiet neighborhood, yet close to Commercial St. and all of the restaurants, shops and fanfare that Ptown has to offer.

For church goers, there is a Roman Catholic church around the block and you can hear the bell tower every morning.

The house features a large back deck with table/chairs and a gas grill. It's great because you can sit either in sun or shade from the nearby trees, and hide your bikes back there. A primary amenity for us is the covered wraparound screen porch, where you can converse at night, read, etc. even when it rains.

Heart of Provincetown has central AC. Though not necessary most times, you’ll appreciate it on those few hot muggy days in summer.

There is a finished basement with washer and dryer, permitting you to bring half the amount of clothes that you would otherwise pack.

Owners Brian and Carl may allow dogs with prior permission. Though we normally don’t bring them, we just got a puppy and our sitter couldn’t take her, so we brought her and one of our Beagles. A Ptown group formed a charity in 2008 to build the Provincetown Bark Park, an award winning, sculpture studded dog park 0.3 mi. walk or drive from the house.

Thanks again Brian and Carl for a wonderful Carnival week!

It was in the Heart of Provincetown...great place

  • 5 of 5

This was my first time to Provincetown renting a house. When I arrived on Saturday I did not realize that It was close to Commercial street . The house was absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed to enjoy our week in Provincetown. I had some friends come from Connecticut and there was so much room. We stayed in a few nights , cooked on the grill and enjoyed the outside patio. The screened in wrap around deck was a delight to enjoy a glass of wine and for a friend who was a smoker. I will definitely be back next year. Thanks for a great experience.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Just wanted to let you know we had a wonderful time in Provincetown last week and enjoyed staying at your house there. The house was so comfortable and convenient and the wifi was great! It was a pleasure to leave the car parked in the driveway and be able to walk or bike everywhere. We enjoyed great cool and breezy weather and your wrap-around screened porch was the perfect place to sip wine, read a good book and listen to the rain which fell last Wednesday. The patio was surprisingly secluded despite the houses next door and the new grill was a plus. I would recommend installing a screen door off the kitchen because there were so many great breezes coming in that way, but I hesitated to keep the door open so as not to invite bugs in (or the neighbor’s cat from across the street!). Also got the chance to catch some entertaining films during the P-town Film Festival.

Thank you for offering the P-town house as a rental and for permitting dogs to stay as well. It contributed to many fond memories of P-town. I would recommend the house to anyone who is interested in a Cape vacation.

Car: not necessary

In Provincetown, you'll discover a unique variety of shops, bars, clubs and outstanding restaurants as you walk along Commercial Street in the center of town. Browse the galleries of renowned artists or head out to the world-famous National Seashore. Take a dune buggy ride and see the unspoiled beaches as the Pilgrims did, or take a walk up to the top of the Pilgrim Monument where you will get spectacular views of Cape Cod. There is also the Pirate Ship Whydah museum for history buffs. Relax and enjoy all that one of Cape Cod's finest towns has to offer in your home away from home in the Heart of Provincetown!
