Home away from Home in Homer

Thank You for having such a beautiful place for us to stay while in Homer Alaska. The home was very comfortable and just the right size for the five of us, and tastefully decorated. We will request accommodation here upon our return to Homer.

This house is in a darling and quiet neighborhood and close to everything you need or want! The house itself has all the amenities you could need- eve a basket of cozy slippers! Beautifully decorated and great beds! We loved it

Prime location - Super CLEAN

We loved this property!! House was furnished with newer couches and you didn’t have to worry about that “worn-out” yucky feeling of some vacation properties. We saw Moose in our yard every afternoon, a pet bunny from the neighbor greeted us daily and was super friendly. The beds were all extremely comfortable!!! This property made our trip so much more enjoyable, can’t say enough about how perfect this was for our stay. Everything was clean, quiet neighbors, wildlife, walking distance to Main Street and we highly recommend!!!

Best property ever

We have stayed in some beautiful VRBOs in luxury destinations and this was the most jaw-dropping property tip-to-tail. I love home design as a hobby, and every little detail of this was beautiful and useful. The beds are AMAZINGLY comfortable. The bathrooms were gorgeous, everything pristine. The seating options inside were a game changer. The yard was beautiful and inviting. I'd give it 100 stars if I could. Our family in Anchorage will be back!

Alaska 2022

The Blu Cottage was perfect for us 3 siblings and our spouses! Barb and her daughter Lacey were so kind and easy to work with. The cottage is decorated so beautifully and the beds and pillows were so comfortable. We enjoyed the back deck as well. The Pratt museum, Sav U More and Northwinds are all within walking distance. AJ’s Steakhouse and Two Sisters Bakery were some of our favorites. Kostas taxi was the only taxi service with a van that would fit all 6 of us. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Lovely home in a great town

We deliberately chose this location as we wanted to be able to walk to activities in town. It was perfect and the house is lovely. There was plenty of room for our party if 6 and the house had all the amenities we needed. It is also very tastefully furnished/decorated.

Beautifully Decorated House

What a wonderful time we had visiting Homer and staying in this immaculately clean home. We were 6 adults and 2 children (kids loved the playground). The dinning area has a gorgeous table that made you feel at home. Their are 3 sitting areas in the living space that are comfortable and spacious. The beds were very nice. What an easy check in and check out process and the location cannot be beat. We loved shopping in their store as well. Will definitely be back for the peony festival in July. Thanks so much!

Gorgeous Home in Quiet Neighborhood

We stayed at the blue cottage for our time and Homer and could not have been more pleased with the accommodations. The home is in a quiet residential neighborhood, and a 3 minute drive to many restaurants, coffee shops and art galleries. It's about 15 minutes to the Homer spit. The stay was me, my significant other and our two retirement age dads, and they loved it. There were multiple sitting rooms so everyone could spread out and have their own space to read, be on the computer, ect. The home was beautifully decorated and exceeded expectations from the online pictures. They had a lovely deck and yard to hang out in. Lacey was extremely responsive when I had questions and allowed us to check in a little early when we knew our ETA for getting into Homer. You will not be disappointed with this home!

Beautiful home

This home was perfect for our family of 4 adults and 3 teens. It was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Homer Alaska.

Wonderful stay!

I actually bought a boat in Homer last year and have been coming for the last 8 years. We have stayed in so many VRBO's it's crazy! And this was one of the best yet. It's location is great, right in town and within walking distance of a lot of great stores. We actually had a Tsunami warning while we was there and it's also above the Tsunami evacuation line, which was a relief, lol. It is decorated beautifually, but also comfortable beds and very functional. The fire pit, the play house, the mud room all added to the comfort and fun for the entire group. Lacey was great and it was an overall wonderful trip. We love Alaska and it's residents! We will be back! Rick from Utah

Exceeded Expectations !

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. This house was beautiful and clean. The Kitchen was well stocked with all needed kitchenware and appliances, everything exceptionally clean and in working order. Nice sit down dining area to eat our meals. The bedrooms, mattresses, etc. very clean and comfortable. My best nights sleep in a long time. Every room beautifully decorated and inviting. Very nice seating area for conversation on deck. Location was very convienient. The owner Lacey, was more than helpful and accommodating. Twenty stars for her ! We will definitely stay there again without any hesitation. Many thanks to you Lacey.

This accommodation was outstanding.

We will definitely be returning to this property! It was very exceptional and professionally furnished and the decor was awesome. It was immaculate and we made sure to "leave no trace" as we left. Thank you for your fantastic taste in creating such a perfect accommodation . . . Not sure how you arranged the Moose mom and baby to come inhabit the yard right next to the deck but we were thoroughly amazed and entertained. I have photos and a video if you're interested. Please check under front steps to eliminate the wasp/bee nest or hive.

Wonderful Stay

It is a beautiful and cozy home with all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay in Homer.

The rental process was easy. We had trouble not receiving the code from VRBO for some reason but Lacey answered our call right away and was able to get in as soon as we pulled up.

Last Girls Night / Baby Shower

Great rental for our group of ladies. Plenty of space to play board games, cook, and eat together. We were easily able to walk to get coffee or to the bar. The house is adorable and has lots of local charm thanks to the owner's eye for interior design. Really enjoyed our stay!

Immaculate, adorable home!

We just returned from spending a few days in Homer. This home has been recently renovated and is completely charming! It is impeccably decorated and has every amenity you might need. And the beds were so comfortable! The location is great, within walking distance to restaurants, shops and the Pratt museum. We would definitely stay here again!
