About this property

Secluded glamping in the stunning San Juan Mountains

Sombrilla Springs is a perfect getaway just outside Pagosa Springs, Colorado, offering its guests 450 acres of freedom, exploration, mountain air, wildlife, outdoor excursions, and jaw-dropping night skies on a private ranch — an experience you'll reminisce about for a lifetime.

We offer six fully furnished, walk-in safari tents in an aspen grove set around a giant fire pit that seats 20 or more. Three tents sleep 5 (1 queen, 3 twins), and three sleep 6 (2 queens, 2 twins) and each is furnished with rugs, dressers, and tables to make them welcoming and comfortable. Each tent also features its own deck and firepit.

Cloud-like luxury linens, extra blankets, and towels are provided. The tent yard also features a shared off-grid toilet and outdoor hot-water shower with a stunning overhead view of aspens.

Just yards away from the tent yard, guests have an inviting shared space — a stunningly restored 1930s barn with lounge areas, wifi, flatscreen tv, movie screen and projector, billiards, shuffleboard, giant Jenga, kitchen, two half baths, and one shower. And every morning, in the barn's kitchen, we treat guests to a delicious ranch breakfast and coffee each morning.

On the grounds around the barn, we provide yard games, dining tables, rocking chairs, and a giant fire pit with blankets, s'more sticks, and spectacular views — the stuff of your dreams once home.
