This Cape Cod retreat, located on picturesque and historic Main Street in Cotuit, features a large wraparound screened porch with comfortable seating, so you can experience the outdoors without ever leaving the house. Spend your days at the beach or downtown, come back each afternoon to barbecue on the stainless grill in the large backyard, and relax as a favorite movie or show plays on the HDTV. Guests will appreciate the modern, full kitchen with stainless steel appliances.

What's nearby:
This home is located on beautiful Main Street, just one mile north of the heart of Cotuit. Come summer, make the easy one-mile journey to Cotuit Town Dock, where you'll find the town's marina and main beach. History buffs will find the Cahoon Museum of American Art less than a mile north, located right on Route 28. Be sure to pack your golf clubs as well, as Cotuit High Ground Golf Course is just over a mile from your front door. You'll also be less than half a mile from Lowell Park, the summertime home of the beloved Cotuit Kettleers baseball team.

Great location. House had everything we needed. Well stocked.

The house was not clean. We cleaned for 2 hours. Swept up a ton of dog hair. All pillows in the living room and furniture on the porch was covered with doge hair. I understand it was pet friendly and we brought our dog but the house was not clean. After we cleaned, we enjoyed our stay and the house.

Too small, no place to gather

The house and property are significantly smaller in real life compared to the listing. We had some cleanliness issues and the manager brought in a crew the next afternoon, but we had to manage until then. There is no place inside the house to sit other than stools or benches. It was awkward for meal times and we couldn’t sut and relax together.

Disappointing stay with Vacasa

Positive: location of the property was convenient Negatives: there is no living room in this home only a long padded window seat. We only stayed 2 nights, it would have been difficult to stay longer There is no beach pass available, although a beach pass was noted as available in the property description and in the confirmation text I received The house was not as clean as expected I reached out to Vacasa in regards to a few concerns during our stay and was told that a local representative would be reaching out to resolve our issues which did not happen.

Good for small group

The location was great, but having one bathroom a definite drawback. There is also not much indoor space to just hang out. There are plenty of beds, but I can’t imagine having that many people in this small house.

Mini vacation

We stayed there for a weekend in September. Upon entering the property, it was spotless and cleaned thoroughly which eased some anxiety about traveling during Covid (although MA is our own state it wasn’t our home.) the house was adorable and the best part was the outdoor seating in the screened in porch. Close distance to everything (shops, food etc.). We hope to be back again (maybe when the weather is a little warmer.

Lovely house on cape cod

Although the house was nice, there were a few issues (not all of them significant). The property listing should explain that there is no living room space, so nowhere to hang out as a family, watch tv, etc. but the biggest issue was with the management company, Vacasa. They were really responsive all the way to the last day when we asked for a late checkout (we asked for 2-3 hours). They didn’t respond, and when they did they had bad information, and it became moot and we left on time, but really for no reason. No one else was checking in that day and it was really disappointing. We will not be booking any Canada listings in the future.
