Recommend this villa

I stay in many villas every year, this one has a good location away from the busier areas but not too far out. You do need a car, but there are some shops and bars within a 10 minute walk. The villa is excellent value for money and I can’t fault the host Ebru

Short visit to Cyprus

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Valhalla Villa. Extremely well equipped with everything you would need, pool was fabulous and warm even in May and the location peaceful with super views of the mountains and the sea. Ebru was very responsive and helped with airport transfers and car hire, and provided us with a welcome pack on our arrival. Would fully recommend a stay here.

A relaxing holiday

We have just returned from 3 weeks here mostly spent lazing around in the superb pool. The villa was easy to find and close by to all local amenities (car recommended). Ebru was easily contactable for any questions or concerns and everything sorted within a day as needed. The villa is spacious and comfortable and a fantastic base for seeing the delights of Northern Cyprus. Hope to be back soon.

The property did not match the description at all, there were a number of key items listed in the property description that were missing. The property was filthy and there was blood on a pillow and bedroom floor. The fridge and freezer shelving were covered in rust meaning that we couldn't put food directly on them. They garden was full of weeds, littered with rubbish and in need of a good sweep. And the exterior and interior of the property was in significant disrepair. I have tried rasing this with the host on

Holiday 2019

My husband and I with 2 friends stayed for two weeks in this villa we have had a wonderful time the pool is fabulous and the villa very comfortable. We had not been to Northern Cyprus before but we needn’t have had any worries the people are so friendly and put themselves out to help you. Also Ebrau was amazing any problem we had she sorted it straight away. Also just checking a couple of times everything was ok. Would definitely recommend.

Valhalla - beautiful comfortable 3 bed villa

The holiday was very good. This three bedroom villa is very attractive and comfortable, it has all the equipment to make it an easy place to use. The swimming pool made a great addition. The views of sea on one side and mountains on the other were an unexpected delight. We liked the village location and there are many places to visit and a good choice of supermarkets, restaurants etc locally. We found a great sandy beach at Alagadi, with a friendly restaurant. The wind and sea were a bit strong for a couple of days, but when the weather changed for the better it was excellent for sun-bathing, swimming and snorkelling. The helpful local agent came to see us to ensure all was well. We would certainly recommend it to others and would think about coming back as there is more to see and do that we did not have time for.

Lovely but not luxury

We enjoyed our holiday, the villa was generally good and the pool was fantastic. But there were some issues with the villa; towels were old and rough, interior is tired with areas of crumbling plaster, cutlery and crockery had to be cleaned before use, dinning table is ready to collapse, we had to dispose of toilet tissue in a bin rather than flush it which in itself is not a problem but bin bags were not provided and the sun loungers are old with torn covers. Although the above is a long list we did have a good holiday. The villa is spacious with amazing views, there is a water dispenser providing cold water from a massive container which was useful and cut down on plastic bottles and the pool was maintained immaculately. The locals are incredibly friendly and there is a wide choice of good restaurants close by. With a few improvements this villa really could be luxury rather than lovely and we would return.

Best villa in North Cyprus

The villa is incredible - very clean and spacious. It is very well located in a nice village quite close to Kyrenia and the views from the villa are amazing. The owner, Ebru, was the best - she sorted out any issue we had straight away and made our stay very comfortable. We have been to Cyprus many times and stayed in many villas but this is definitely the best one. Thank you Ebru, we look forward to staying in your villa again!

Late summer heat

Our overall rxperience was great. It was clean and tidy bedding and towels were provided, we could have done with a welcome pack with basics in as it was late and dark when we arrived. The view was spectacular of the mountains. We had an issue with the water which was sorted within hours and with no fuss. This villa is a great find if you want to stay in a home from home, there are shops and restaurants nearby. You are not far from everything you would need for a stress free stay, you are a short drive from local beaches, Kyrenia and small villages. There are lots of places to visit or you can just chill snorkeling, reading and eating.

Fabulous!

We were so excited for our holiday in Cyprus at this villa and we weren't disappointed. The villa is beautiful and well equipped, the views of the mountains are stunning and the pool was very much appreciated in the heat! However, what completed the holiday was how helpful Ebru was with everything from airport transfer, car hire and booking us taxis during our stay. I cant thank her enough. I would highly reccomend this villa to everybody.

All-round stunning!

We loved our stay at this lovely modern villa in a quiet part of Catalkoy with superb mountain views and sunsets, a great pool and very comfortable accommodation. Very convenient for touring the coast and mountains and 5 minutes from excellent supermarkets and restaurants down on the main road.

Fantastic Pool

Lovely villa well equiped with all that you would need. New pillows in the bedrooms would be nice. Pool area lovely, and well maintained and our grand daughters were in their element. We were a party of six and there were only 5 beds, with extra mattresses in the garage and one of the five beds was split - ok - for a child but not an adult. Needs a bit of TLC which would then make it luxurious. We hired a car as it was a bit far out for us. Any problems we had Ebru the owner sorted, for us very quickly, many thanks to her. Would reccommend Eminem and The Kitchen to eat out but will need a car or Taxi.

Very nice villa with an excellent pool

We enjoyed very much our stay at this villa. It had everything we needed. Good local places to eat are Enimen and The Kitchen. Kyrenia has lots of decent restaurants. We liked the Six Brothers rooftop.

Amazing

This is by far the best villa we have stayed in Cyprus. The views were amazing, especially the mountains at the back. The villa is in a quite neighbourhood at the top of the village, The villa it self is large and spacious with a large size swimming pool. It was all good and we will stay there again. Highly reccomended.

Perfect holiday

I was with my wife, daughter and three of her friends in this beautiful villa in Catalkoy and we had the perfect holiday. A great pool, 2 bathrooms, more than enough place for everybody. Ebru was always 'online' to help us. We will certainly come back!

Lovely villa with beautiful pool and close to amenities

Valhalla Villa is a lovely villa which had everything we needed. The pool is a great size and very well looked after. The villa is close enough to walk into Catalkoy to the local store (try their homemade Helim Bread, yum) and a couple of restaurants. Within a 5min drive is 3 large supermarkets and fruit and veg shop. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this villa. My only criticism would be that we did have to chase the owners for information, such as directions/address of villa, the code for key lock and refund of breakage deposit. Normally address and access details are provided a month before you arrive and we were still chasing the owner on the day we arrived, making it very stressful and also making us wonder if we had been scammed. When speaking on the phone the owners were very helpful though.

Really exceeded our expectations!

We had a lovely holiday in this villa. The villa is gracious and spacious, it makes great open, efficient use of space, with big communal rooms and bathrooms, and is good in the heat and easy to clean. The white marble increases both the sense of coolness and light. Everything we sought in terms of equipment was there - towels, cheese graters, barbecue, chilled water..... For us the pool was the best part, close, large and bright, very clean and regularly serviced, a wonderful temperature, and a tactful mixture of light and shade. In the photographs the garden looked a bit stony and sparse, but in fact it was really well planned with a huge multi coloured bougainvillea that seemed like a massive bouquet at the centre as we sat on the terrace. There were many quiet shady spaces, and the private balconies made it feel room enough for three generations to share. Nothing could have prepared us for the shepherd beating down carob husks in the grass behind, the kindness of people around and the excellent small local restaurants. We wholeheartedly recommend this villa, and Turkish Cyprus and would love to come back.

Valhalla - a lovely place to stay

We have recently returned from our holiday in Northern Cyprus with our teenage children and my parents, who are both in their seventies. We stayed at "Valhalla" which is situated in the village of Catalcoy in the foothills of the "Five Fingers" Mountains. The villa itself was perfect for out stay, with a lovely open plan feel downstairs and upstairs there are three double bedrooms, one with an en-suite and a large family bathroom. The air conditioning worked well (which was essential as it was very hot with temperatures in the mid-90's every day) and the villa is very well equipped, including a washing machine and dishwasher. Outside, there is a large swimming pool which was extremely clean and very well maintained. The owners agents kept in contact with us during our stay and when we did have an issue with the toilet in the en-suite, it was quickly rectified. If you are looking for a base from which to explore the sights that this part of the world provides, then this villa is perfect, however you will need a hire car for your stay, which the owner will arrange for you. All in all, we had a lovely holiday and would not hesitate to recommend this villa.
