Welcome and thanks for considering our home for your vacation. Please scroll down to the “ask owner a question” tab instead of the “request to book” tab. We would prefer communication before accepting a rental.
This is a beautiful ski in, ski out, luxury townhouse. 2,600 square foot end
unit, southerly exposure. Grammy Jay trail (beginner trail) is just steps
from your door and the village chair is at the bottom waiting to bring you to
all other lifts on the mountain.

Stand out on the deck and watch skiers come over the Grammy Jay
Bridge. Glance out the kitchen window and see the tram go to the top of the
mountain.

This townhouse has 3 floors, 5 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms. You enter this
home on the middle floor. As you enter the front door, you step into one of
2 mudrooms with a beautiful slate floor. There are plenty of hooks and cubbies for all
your winter outerwear and shoes. You then proceed into the foyer where you will see
the open floor plan with hardwood floors. A large kitchen with granite
counters, fully applianced, and stocked with everything you could need to
cook a basic breakfast to a gourmet meal. The kitchen flows into the dining
area, a table that seats 10 which looks out onto the Grammy Jay trail. The
family room is situated at the back of the home with a large wall of glass
that steps out onto the large deck. A beautiful gas fireplace is the
centerpiece of the family room with a large flat screen television above with a Sonos
sound bar.
There is a large deck off the family room with amazing views of the mountains in Canada.
Also on this level is a queen bedroom that has a door
with private access to the full bath on this level.

The top floor has a king master suite. Ensuite bathroom includes: double sinks with beautiful granite countertop, heated floor and a custom shower with 2 shower heads and body sprays. There is a flat screen television. Also a sitting area in front of a set of windows makes a nice spot to relax when you want a little quiet time. The second bedroom on the top floor is a king with ensuite bathroom. Granite sink top and 5 foot shower. Flat screen television as well.

The lower level has 2 bedrooms. One bedroom with twin beds with access
to the mudroom. The second bedroom has 1 twin bed and a set of twin
bunks. The lower level also has a full bathroom with a tub shower unit, granite counter top double sinks, and a heated floor. Also another family room on this floor, a
great place for kids to hang out. Flat screen television with surround sound. Plenty of games are in the TV cabinet.

There is a mudroom with plenty of hooks and cubbies for your ski gear and
a boot dryer. Step out the mudroom door and you are right on the trail. Just pop your skis on and go!
A washer and dryer are on this level as well.

The townhouse comes equipped with all linens, pillows, towels and
blankets. Basic cooking needs like oils, salt, pepper, other spices…
There are sleds available as well as snow shoes.
There is a ring doorbell located at the front door.
This home can sleep a maximum of 11 people. There is WiFi throughout the house.

Jay Peak receives more snow than any other resort on the east coast. The mountain has excellent beginner through expert trails, and the glade trails are spectacular.
On the resort, there are 3 new hotels, 6 restaurants, a skating rink,
Clips and Reels (indoor climbing facility with an arcade and a movie
theater and mini golf) and a multi million dollar, 63,000 sq ft indoor water park. The
water park has multiple slides, double barrel flowrider, a lazy river and a kiddie play area. This facility has the largest bar on the resort.
For the non downhill skier, there is a Nordic Center located on the golf course for cross country skiing, snowshoeing and fat tire biking.
For all, there is a beautiful spa located in the Tram House Lodge.
Several shuttle buses can take you wherever you want to go on the resort,
no need to worry about driving!

The house was amazing, everything you could want including a hot tub with views of the valley and a boot warmer in the mud room! Perfect Layout and Well appointed

I have been visiting Jay Peak with my family for more than 10 years. This condo is by far the best layout for a family ski vacation. The smart layout with a mudroom in the front as well as the back is the most convenient for keeping shoes and equipment out of the living areas. In addition, the kitchen is fully equipped with all the tools you need to make meals for a family. The location is perfect on Grammy Jay. The host is amazing, every answer to any question you might have is answered in thorough notes provided before and during your visit. I truly can't say enough great things about our experience in this unit.

Amazing Trip

We had three families staying at this property with kids ranging from 1-6. It was the perfect house, plenty of sleeping options, and spacious so we didn't feel on top of each other. The house its absolutely stunning and has every amenity you could possible need. We were welcoming with a lovely note, a bottle of wine and a box of pancakes which our kids loved! I can not speak more highly of the owners, they were so accommodating and responsive. The day we checked out, we asked to book our trip for next year. I truly cant imagine staying anywhere else now when going to Jay!

Perfect condo for a fabulous vacation!

We just returned from six nights in this incredible condo at Jay Peak! It was a perfect way to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday with his brothers and their families. The condo is beautiful with a lot of space to spread out. The ski in/ski out location could not have been more convenient - literally walk out the door and hop on the trail. We had never been skiing at Jay Peak and we loved it! We even got out for a day of x-country skiing and the kids had a great day at the waterpark. And after a day of skiing it was so nice to be able to relax in the hot tub or in front of the fire. The Forsbergs were fantastic hosts, very helpful and attentive. I can't recommend this place enough. Thank you for everything!

Great property!

We were two families of four that stayed here. Our kids are 16-21 years old and we all had plenty of room to hang out together or have a little quiet time between the two living spaces. The property is just as described and super clean and well-stocked. You can tell that the family uses the house for themselves , so it really well taken care of. Tammy was great at communicating before and during our stay. We arrived before the official start of their ski season, so the Grammy Jay trail behind the house wasn’t open for us to ski in & ski out of. There had been a big snowstorm, but the trail was not groomed, and they were blowing snow to get it even more ready for the official start of the season If you want it to be a true ski in and ski out, you may want to contact the resort first to see when they will open up that trail. But it was really easy to drive over to the base. In a nutshell, it was a great family vacation, and we will definitely book it again when coming back to Jay Peak.

Beautiful, clean, spacious home

This was a fantastic home and experience! The owner is really communicative and friendly, so check-in was easy. There were 11 of us and we had plenty of room to spread out in the house. The common area on the lowest floor was great for the teenagers. It’s really clean and one of the best-stocked houses we’ve rented. Plenty of kitchen appliances and gadgets. It was also convenient having four full bathrooms. The hot tub was lovely! As was the excellent ski-in/ski-out location. It really is steps from the slope. It’s at the bottom of a short section that beginners may find too steep, but worst case is you walk down that portion to get home. Getting from the house down to the village lift is an easy green. Our only minor issue is we had trouble getting our car back up to the main road because there had been a big snow storm. However, a mountain truck came out and laid a bunch of sand and we got out fine then. If we return to Jay Peak, we will definitely rent from Tammy again!

This house was exactly what we were hoping for. The perfect place for skiers and non skiers. The house is so comfortable with beautiful views, so hanging out there, playing games, reading or watching the skiers come down the Granny J trail, is the perfect afternoon. Easy walk to all the lodges The closet lodge about a 5 minute walk has stores, a movie theater, arcades and a climbing wall. The ski out goes right to the free lift with 2 runs perfect for beginners and great for sledding once the lifts close. Large mud room and bonus ski room can easily hold all the winter gear. House came with sleds and snowshoes. Tammy is an excellent host. We planned this almost a year in advance and I talked to her several times over that period. Quick email responses. There is so much to this house, I can’t say enough. Plenty of room for 10, never felt on top of one another. Always a bathroom free. We Loved the decorations especially the Tree with the bear. Perfection!!!

I cannot say enough great things about the property and owner. The home is amazing! The lay out was perfect for our big family vacation. It was beautifully decorated and the location on the slope was ideal. The homeowner went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. She left all kinds of great information and even called me ahead of time to check in personally. We had an amazing family vacation - in large part because of the home and homeowner.

We are a family of 4 from MA. Our 2 children grew up skiing at Jay Peak. We purchased our home at Jay in 2005, after renting there for a few years. During their middle and high school years we skied at Jay almost every weekend. As college started, the kids came a little less, but with friends and family our house was always busy. Plenty of room for everyone.

Why they chose this property

Although Jay is a 4 hour 15 min drive for us, it is well worth it. This mountain is unique, the most natural snow in the east, the best glades, much less crowded than many other ski resorts, it’s a true skiers paradise. There are an incredible amount of amenities off the hill offered at the resort for everyone in your group, whether they ski, ride, cross country, snowshoe, hit the water park, climb indoor walls, dine, spa or just want to sit back and read a book in front of the fire. Jay Peak has it all. It’s a special place with a happy vibe. Kick back and relax!

What makes this property unique

This townhouse is truly ski in/ski out, just walk out the door and pop into your skis. Your group can come and go as they please all day. Easily stop back to the house for lunch. Great for kids, 2 beginner trails that loop the house with its own double chair. Centrally located between the stateside base area and tram side base. And when you want to enjoy some of those amenities no need to get in your car, just jump on the free shuttle buses that navigate the resort all day and night. Drop off and pick up at our townhouse.
