Gorgeous Hidden gem Lake front Studio. No cleaning fee. Pet friendly

Lake front studio is located on 2 1/2 acres of grass and majestic oak trees. There are solar string lights in the trees that come on at night creating an enchanting wonderland. This lake front gem sports a fully stocked kitchen. Washer and Dryer. Luxurious bath with two person whirlpool tub and two person double shower head shower. Your own private deck to enjoy the sunset. Invite friends and family for s'mores at the fire pit. Come have a mini staycation . Take the complimentary kayaks, paddle boards, or canoes out or bring your own boat. A Boat ramp is quite close. Run away from the hustle of the city. Watch the wind blow the water. Drift away with the clouds. Guest should know that we are in unincorporated Denton County. When you turn on Doe Branch Road you will drive past some trailer houses and junk cars. I share this with you, so you, might not judge my neighbors. It is extremely quiet and safe out here. If you are looking to escape the concrete jungle, then you have found your peace and calm. Located on Lake Lewisville; We are 10 min from Legacy West in Frisco. 10 min from the mall in Frisco. 10 min from the cowboys new stadium. 10 min from downtown Denton. 12 min from Prosper. 5 min from Aubrey. There are two short term rentals on site. Our property is 2 1/2 acres with the cottage on the far left and the studio on the far right. The owner lives on site in the main house.

My husband, son (12), and I went to DFW for a fun little get away and staying at this Hidden Gem was absolutely perfect for us! The little extra things they did for our stay did not go unnoticed: cold waters in the frig, make up wipes, kitchen supplies, extra blankets for sitting outside, wood easily available for the fire pit, etc. The lake was also so stinkin’ cute! If we had gone during a warmer month we definitely would’ve taken more advantage of it with the available kayaks. Due to our busy schedule we didn’t get to take full advantage of the amenities, but the propane grill, lawn Jenga, and corn hole were a nice addition. The hosts were also pleasant to deal with and friendly.

OMG- one of the most organized, clean well stocked places (Lake House) we have stayed at Internet could work a bit better- but you are at the Lake to enjoy!!!Have a ton of pictures, but I like this one

The host and hostess very professional and friendly and let us know they were available if we needed anything. . The hot tub worked wonderfully! as did the coffeemaker, stove, heating unit, outdoor grill. The decor was rustic but modern with a designer double bathroom sink that I must now get for my home. THE VIEW was the best! At night, I could leave the curtains open and look at the lake AND Xmas lights on the trees while I relaxed in the big comfy clean bed. The step up kitchen was a dream stocked with spices, coffees, and nice quality dishes. The boats, board games, lifejackets, provided hours of fun! Will be coming back to this idyllic getaway that gave me the relaxation and cozy comfort I needed. A temporary SLICE OF HEAVEN!
Loving the circular hammock by the boats and fire pit! Nice hiking areas, too.

A great getaway!

Had a wonderful stay at this property. Everything needed was supplied and then some. A lovely place to relax by the water before heading out in the kayaks or paddle boards.Just the peace and quiet I needed!!!

My husband and I stayed here while visiting family close by. Unit had everything needed and clean. Very quiet and relaxing location. We enjoyed waking up in the morning, viewing the lake with coffee and ending our day with a cocktail enjoying the lake view.

Sweet little retreat

Very clean and comfy, had everything we needed including friendly owners. The walk down to the shore with the sunset and grilling food was a fun time. Highly recommend this place, be sure to be there before sunset.

Many aspects of this property are lovely. We loved the bed, kitchenette, bathroom. The hideaway couch/sofa bed was unusable. Very torn, very thin mattress, and wires and zip ties holding frame together. The bathroom towels seemed to be damp- but I think it may have been due to no fan in bathroom. The kayaks, which we were excited to use, were full of water in the hulls, and lying in ant mounds, with mud and wet leaves in seats. The patio was lovely but had very dirty cushions and deck, and not sure there was a light to turn on when we returned at night to enter property. We would likely stay again, convenient to our family that lives in the area, but a few items could be improved.

Why they chose this property

In 2013 Ken and I were living in Frisco Tx. We both wanted to escape all the congestion of Frisco, TX. Too many people!! We were blessed to find this hidden gem located 10 to 20 min from everything . Located on 2 1/2 acres of mature oak trees and 235 lineal ft of sandy beach is a small slice of heaven waiting for your next staycation or get together with friends. It is our biggest delight to share it with you. We have two properties. The cottage and The studio. See you soon.

Our property is a natural habitat with all Gods creatures. If you like painted sunsets. If you like watching the wind caress the water. If you like Kayaking or paddle boarding. Sitting by a bon fire with friends and s'mores. Then our property is for you. Private beach and beach chairs.
