Watch a movie on a 50 inch plasma TV, read a book, play a game, surf the net, or sit on the deck and chat with a cold drink in hand. Close to the Chamber of Commerce's Bar Harbor Area Information & Acadia Welcome Center, lobster pounds, gas stations, grocery store, restaurants, Bar Harbor Airport, etc. A great starting point to access any location on Mt Desert Island, Ellsworth, or Schoodic Point. Has three bedrooms, 2 full baths, a huge deck with grill, gazebo and picnic table. No smoking anywhere on the property & no pets, please.

The Goose Cove Cottage was excellent! Loved the way the host left the blueberry soda and the sea salt caramels for us. The cottage was very cozy, very clean, and well taken care of. Would definitely recommend it for anyone visiting the Bar Harbor area.

The cottage was wonderful. Clean, everything you need and more. Super clean and very well organized. All you need is to bring yourself. Jean was a great host. She was very helpful with information about the surrounding area. Very easy to get in touch with as well. We had a great time and would definitely come back.

June went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcomed and comfortable at her charming property, communicating well before and during our stay. We rented this for a vacation with our adult children & two grandkids and the location was just perfect! Easy travel to surrounding communities like Ellsworth and Bar Harbor Acadia National Park (which was an almost daily destination for us). It sits on a wooded lot, tucked away for privacy, and includes a comfortable deck, yard, and gazebo. We would stay here again!

Very comfortable place to relax after exploring Acadia. Had everything that we needed and the host was quick to respond with any questions.

Overall a very nice property to stay. Easy drive to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Very clean and well appointed. Beds were comfortable. Place was maintained and satisfied all of our needs. Would stay there again.

The Cottage is very homey, has everything someone would need. Beds are very comfortable. It is out of the way of the crazy Bar Harbor traffic, yet plenty close to get to everything very timely.

Our stay with 7 people was great. The place is extremely well equipped. The place is big enough that we weren't on top of each other. The location is also great: central to everything. Would definitely stay here again.

June is a wonderful host! She responded to our questions quickly. This location was a short drive to Bar Harbor and many spots in Acadia National Park. Loved our stay!

Cottage is a great location for travels outside of Bar Harbor as well. We went from Eastport down to Rockland and all in between. One of the few listings with two king beds and a queen, our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the large cottage.

The host was accessible by phone and informative. The house was clean and comfortable. Beds were excellent and the showers were too. House was very near by the Acadia National park- both sides!

Beautiful country style cabin in the woods with all the comforts of home. The host provided every amenity needed and was wonderful to correspond with. Trenton is a great location for access to Acadia National Park and Cadillac mountain. Bar Harbor is also an easy drive away. Our sincere thanks for a wonderful stay.

Before my family moved to Bar Harbor in the late 60's, I have vivid memories of life at the lobster pound that my father and uncle shared ownership of in Sorrento, Maine. Many hours were spent with my siblings scouring the seashore for driftwood, sea glass, and shells, digging up clams, looking for crabs under seaweed at low tide, and exploring tide pools. We grew up with a love of nature and particularly the ocean. Many of my adult years were spent working in Bar Harbor as well as exploring Mt Desert and some of the surrounding islands. After the family business located in Bar Harbor was sold in 2000, we moved to the mid-West where I presently live. But, I am drawn back to this region several times a year to enjoy the unique beauty of Acadia and to experience once again the sights, sounds, and smells associated with the Atlantic ocean.
