Beautiful location. Seemed like it only took 15 minutes to drive almost anywhere we needed to get too. Marcus was very responsive and I really loved that a lot of the original charm of the home was preserved. We would absolutely stay there again.

Fantastic stay!

Great vacation with the family. The host answered any questions quickly. The views of the river and wildlife were phenomenal. Near everything, yet secluded. Great hidden gem!

The view was amazing from the closed in front porch. It was peaceful and serene there by the river. The home was a wonderful stay. Clean, spacious, and felt like home. The location is conveniant if you want to explore Lake Michigan or Lake Superior. We met with the owner who lives on site, he was kind and inviting,but never intruding. Will definately keep this place in mind for future trips.

Peaceful, quiet location

This was a great place for us to stay to catch up with friends since moving away. The owner lives next door but gave us privacy. He was very quick to respond to any questions we had. Our kids enjoyed playing with his very friendly dog, Luna!

Winter getaway

The house and location were outstanding. We were able to check in early and everything we needed was available. The house was very clean and all the amenities were top notch. The digital tv was a plus. I would definitely stay again with out hesitation.

Perfect Location to the Lake

We took our kids ice fishing for a couple of days and this house worked perfect! Great location, price, and had exactly what we needed. The owner is nearby and quick to reply via text. Would stay here again.

A lovely stay

This is a wonderful 100+ year old house with a beautiful view of the Escanaba River. Easy 10-minute access to Escanaba, good location as a home base for traveling to various locations (lighthouses, waterfalls, etc). Host Marc was very accessible by text and quickly responded to any questions or needs. I will definitely stay here again when traveling back to the Escanaba area.

Good place to stay

We had a great time here! There’s a beautiful lake right in front of the house, and I absolutely love the sunrise view. The house feels like a home stay, with everything you need easily accessible. The living space is spacious and comfortable. The only drawback is that the heating in the bedroom is a bit noisy when we staying there. Overalls, it’s a lovely place to stay.
