Malabar Cove - LAKEFRONT, QUIET, & RELAXING! INCLUDES A/C AND KAYAKS!

Malabar Cover is a cozy, quiet, and relaxing lakefront home on the Little Bay De Noc portion of Lake Michigan. The home has a huge backyard on the lake, which provides lots of space for kids to play. Three kayaks are included! The backyard also has a large deck with outdoor furniture and a very nice firepit for bonfires. Inside, the home is very cozy with a woodsy and nautical theme throughout the home. This is a great place for exploring the U.P. or just relaxing and enjoying the beauty!


PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

1) WATER: The property has well water, which can cause the water to possibly have an iron taste and slight odor. We recommend using bottled water.

2) PET POLICY: All pets are strictly prohibited at the property.

3) AIR CONDITIONING: The property has 2 mini-split A/C units (one in the living room and one in the kitchen), which does keep the house generally quite cool. The home does not have central air conditioning though.

4) NUMBER OF GUESTS: Please note that our pricing is based upon the number of guests, with pricing being higher with each additional guest that is included on the reservation. Please make certain that the correct number of guests is specified on the reservation so that the pricing is correct.

5) EARLY CHECK-IN: Our policy is to allow early check-in on the day of arrival if the property is available for check-in. We will not know until the day before arrival whether or not the property will be available for early check-in or not. You can check with our local property manager the day before arrival or on your arrival day to see if the property will be available for early check-in or not.

6) LATE CHECK-OUT: We maintain a very strict and structured cleaning schedule. As such, late check-outs are strictly prohibited.

Malabar Resort was great for our ice fishing trip. Easy on and off the ice. We enjoyed the den with a fireplace and tv to relax at night.

We had to book this last minute, Somehow, the place was left messy- food in the refrigerator, food in the cupboards, and ants in one of the bathrooms and bedrooms. The floors were dirty. I think that the host didn't realize that we had booked a last minute reservation. Hopefully, it will be better prepared for the next guests. We left after one night and the host graciously gave us a refund. The lake view is beautiful. The place has lots of privacy and a huge yard for games. The water softener was extremely loud whenever it kicked on. The floors have a lot of uneven spots- this place is not suitable for anyone with a risk of tripping.

Wonderful Stay!

We had a great stay! Particularly loved the huge and comfy living room with great views of the lake along with a large television, which provided for a fun family movie night! We also had a lot of fun hiking at the Days River Nature Trail, which is just 1.8 miles from the cabin.

Best time the weather was perfect to spend our day/night out by the fire-pit to enjoy the Lake! Last evening we watched the Northern Lights!The home was very comfy could not have been more comfortable for 4 friends to spends a long weekend!

The location of this property is incredible. The bay was calm, we saw eagles every day and there were actually three kayaks instead of two! Communication with the property manager was quick and easy. My only complaint really is that the adirondack chairs were all broken. The patio chairs on the deck were great, but they are too heavy to drag down to the lake. We spent a lot of time sitting on rafts that we brought! The house was pretty clean, but does have the issues one would expect being on a lake- a little musty, a few bugs and uneven floors. For the price, though, I would still consider staying here again because of the amazing position on the lake, the reasonable price and the kayaks. Also a bonus- it was much hotter than average for the UP and we were worried bc the listing said there was no AC. Turns out there are a couple ductless units, just not central air... Which was much appreciated! We were comfortable despite the 98 degree highs!

Malabar Cove was a great place. Very spacious and comfortable. The view of the bay was amazing and our nightly four legged visitors were fun to watch. Lisa was very helpful with an internet issue and resolved the problem quickly. We would recommend this property.

wonderful stay- loved it so much

We felt very comfortable and happy staying at your cabin this past week. I loved feeling good about being able to make meals in the nice kitchen and enjoyed our coffee in the living room looking at the water. Absolutely fabulous!
