We had an amazing time this house is in the perfect location. You’re not far from anything at all the property manager gave us a very detailed description of the surrounding area and cool things to check out. Overall we had a blast and would for sure stay here again
We take our sailboat to the island many times a summer, so we are very familiar with Put In Bay. We stayed for my wife's birthday party and everything was excellent. You can walk down town, the beds were comfortable and the space above average.
I highly recomed this if you have a large group.
Great House, Great Location, Everything went smoothly
17 of us stayed in the house to see the total eclipse. Dave Schafer, the manager, welcomed us and was available and helpful throughout our stay. Very gracious.
The location and the quaity of the house were both top notch. The island was very fun, with many terrific bars and restaurants. The Reel Bar, two doors away from the house was a terrific place to hangout.
Plenty of parking at the house, a much-used fire pit, plenty of bathrooms and supplies. A GREAT experience!
This is an absolutely gorgeous property and THE BEST location on the island. If we didn't want to cruise around and sight-see, you wouldn't even need to rent a golf cart. Everything (around downtown) was a very short walk. The house is comfortable and so beautifully decorated. The backyard is a destination in itself, with so much space to hang out. We were also impressed with Dave the house manager, who met us at arrival, gave us a tour and orientation of the home and was always responsive to any of our questions. Our entire group agreed - Put-in-Bay House is THE GEM on the island.
We found the house to be everything it was advertised to be. It was spacious, convenient to everything and had every amenity you could want or need. Wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.
We booked this house for an event in Put-In-Bay and it was fabulous. The owners were easy to work with and available for questions in a timely manner. This house is in a great location with easy walkability to the restaurants, shops, and bars. You can rent a golf cart but we walked everywhere. From the minute we arrived, we felt welcome. The beds are plentiful and very comfortable with great bedding. There are also quite a few baths (which is nice with a crowd) with nice, thick towels. They also have more bedding and towels if you find a need. The great room was large and set up for a great conversational space with plenty of seating and a wonderful fireplace. It was so nice to watch football and have a roaring fire. The kitchen was nicely stocked with plenty of dishes and kitchen towels. The front porch was nice to sit on and enjoy our coffee in the morning plus there is a back deck with seating for quite a few. Although we did not do a firepit, there is one in the back and they also supplied some wood, would be great on a chilly evening. Our group enjoyed this property and will definitely be back.

Pros- huge living room, great location, beautiful backyard with firepit, front, side, and back porch super nice, friendly owners, managers, and neighbors (we borrowed a grill), kitchen stocked with pots, pans, silverware, crockpot & kitchen aid mixer, big screen TVs in almost all bedroom, all beds comfy, couch was huge and comfy, 3 full bathroom, (1 with jetted bathtub), 2 half bathrooms.
Cons- still under construction, air conditioner undersized for the house stayed around 75-78 degrees(bring fans) at night, mayflies are crazy, can sometimes hear people on street partying.
Overall we had a wonderful time. I’m excited to see the place when it is completely finished.
