This was our fourth time staying at this property. It’s been a great experience each time we’ve stayed there. There are great opportunities to see wild life, it’s a quiet area, and the amenities are great.
We had a wonderful time. Great communication from the host. The house has a wonderful view of the mountains, and we enjoyed seeing the herds of mule deer out in the fields near the house.
Everything went smoothly at this lovely property. Only a 5-minute drive to the ski resort made for easy access for our family ski trip. Very spacious for our family. Would recommend!
The accommodations were very nice, and the atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. The only con is the steep driveway. Other than that, everything was perfect!"
This was such a comfortable place in a lovely spot. We loved seeing the deer around close by all day. We were 4 adults and all had plenty of space. We used the kitchen some and it was helpful to have that. Also, we enjoyed the fireplace. We had everything we needed in this lovely house.
Things to keep in mind as a potential guest: If you are on the short side or have long nails, the lockbox might be tricky as it is pretty high and requires you to use use the 4 digit rolling code. Also, if you are older or have mobility issues, you may struggle some with the stairs getting in as the house sits up high on a slope. Also, the spiral staircase to the upstairs area of the home may be tricky for some, especially carrying bags and luggage up and down.
Family and I visited from Colorado, this cabin was just far enough away to be a real get away. Kids loved the loft, kitchen was well stocked. Loved the views and large windows, tons of wildlife. Deer in the yard almost every morning when we woke up. Deck was great, we spent a ton of time, just relaxing on the deck, enjoying the views.
The cabin is close to the activities at the Angelfire resort properties. We enjoyed the Farmers market on Saturday, live music Friday evening at the event pavilion. It also close to the fishing lake and park that our kids enjoyed. We don’t golf, but we could see the course from the patio.
We spent the week doing different sxs rides and fishing! It was the perfect location to access Cimarron canyon, Eagle’s Nest, Monte Verde, Red River! We fished all of the above along with Goose Lake and Cabresto. Great space to park our truck with our trailer. Kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to Cook our meals at home. Very cozy property and saw wildlife daily. Thank you SO much!
My husband, myself, son, daughter-in-law, 15 yr old and 10 yr old - 4/5 day stay to hike, raft, zipline, ride horses, sightsee, and just RELAX. Could NOT have chosen a better place to stay! Deer, chipmunks, groundhogs, grey squirrels, hummingbirds, geese, woodpeckers… ALL visible from living area or deck! Everything you need… grocery store close by and restaurants. Would highly recommend. ❤️
A very nice location with a lot of wildlife. The house allowed for inside/outside living. A bit dated, but exactly what we wanted and were looking for. We will be back again.
Second time we have stayed, just breath taking. Wildlife everywhere: Elk, mule deer, turkeys, eagles, magpies, stellar jays, squirrels, the view is wonderful! The cabin has everything you need.
We love coming to this area to see the leaves change. This was our first time to stay in Angel Fire. The house was more than I expected. I felt right at home. Everything we needed was right there. Directions were easy to follow. I for sure an planning another trip to Angel Fire and hopefully this property
Property as advertised! Perfect place for some much needed r and r and to escape the heat in the south. Lots to see and do in the area and this rental was ideally located. Property manager easy to deal with and very responsive to my questions. I would definitely rent this place again if I was in the Angel Fire area. Nice and quiet except for a bit of highway noise that was not noticed after a couple of days. Thank you Jennifer and Barb. Scott/Cindy Louisiana
Awesome house with nice furnishings and decor, super clean, the kitchen, dining and living area were perfect for the 2 of us. Wrap around deck was great to relax, grill, and enjoy nature. We will be back.
