Exterior Features

You can feel the relaxation the moment you drive up to Beach Bungalow Cottage. It's beachy color scheme of pastel green and blue against a light gray or white is akin to the waters and sand of the Gulf of Mexico you'll see from your living and bedroom spaces every day of your stay. Drive onto a cobblestone driveway and park your rental inside the two-car garage away from the heat of the Emerald Coast sun. Relax on the overhead balcony or fire up the grill for your favorite meal. Make your way through the courtyard gate where you'll be greeted with another grilling area, a locking inner gate, and a large courtyard space with trellis and bistro table for two. Enjoy some time in the sun and sea breezes on a lower-level patio with rustic wood bench. From the courtyard you'll find a set of stairs leading up to the balcony facing the beautiful waters of the Gulf. Savor an informal meal at the provided outdoor dining with optional seating for eight, soak up the sun in a comfortable lounge chair, or pull up a chair to the small built-in shelf to read or sip your morning coffee while gazing out at water. Once you've had your fun at the beach, rinse off before heading inside with the outdoor shower on the side of the home.

Interior Amenities

The charming colors of the home's exterior are repeated throughout the inside of the home as well. Prepare a home-cooked meal in the generously sized and fully equipped kitchen. The expansive concrete counters allow plenty of space for cooking and meal prep, including an island with storage space, microwave, and two bar stools is perfect for the chef to spread out and organize ingredients while staying a part of the group. All appliances are stainless steel, and the charming farmhouse sink is a stunning addition. There is plenty of storage space for everything you'll need to prepare any meal. The cabinetry is painted in the pastel blue color and offers a relaxing ambiance as well as a pop of color against the white walls. Enjoy the meal in the dining area, with rustic wood table and chairs with seating for six. Relax in the beach tones of the living area with doors opening out onto the balcony.

When the day is done or it's time for a nap, head to a private bedroom. The master suite features a king size bed, plush white linens, a flat screen TV, and private access to outdoor space. Rinse off the sand and salt or prepare for a day of fun in bathroom featuring tiled counter and shower, double sinks, and plenty of storage space for your toiletries. The second bedroom is a loft area where the occupants can overlook the living area of the home. Enjoy a TV show on the wall-mounted flat screen in front of the bed. Small lights to each side of the bed are perfect for reading a book. Recessed lighting in the ceiling in strategic locations give off light from every angle. The kids of the group will love the bunk room. A set of twin-over-twin and a set of full-over-full bunk beds painted the beachy blue found in other elements of the home. Cute “whale tail” coat pegs adorn the end of each top bunk, so the room occupants have a place to put coats or bags if the closet is full of souvenirs. Enjoy a TV show or video game on the flat screen TV in the room. Another bathroom features a frameless shower with rain head and pedestal sink, and the third is conveniently located off of the living area.
