We were a mixed group of 3 extended families, so the arrangement of 3 apartments within one villa worked well for us. The villa is located close to the town with lots of bars and restaurants. It's up a steep hill so you need to be fit! One thing to note is that many cafes and bars in Omis only take cash. Restaurants take cards but prefer cash. There are 2 beaches within walking distance, both with a good choice of beach bars. The town beach has an inflatable in the bay which costs 8 Euro a go. Brzet beach straight down from the villa was our preferred beach, and there's a convenience shop there too for drinks/snacks/ice cream. We hired a boat and captain for a day with Omis Speedboat, which was a great day out exploring Brac island and swimming spots. The villa itself was great and served us well. Small points were that there was no communication from Thomas prior to arrival but we messaged him. There is no bbq or toaster as described, in fact the kitchens are very sparsely stocked for self-catering. No sharp knives, graters etc. There is a shop very close by on the top road which is ideal for fresh bread in the morning, water etc. Overall the house was a great space for our mix of adults and teenagers who loved the pool (but we missed having a bbq!).

Beautiful views

The owners were attentive and helpful. The villa was very clean. The views were beautiful and we all had a wonderful week. The children loved the tortoises in the garden and names them all! The villa was ideally set out for our group of 13 and we had ample space to spread out but also be together for meals, pool time, etc.The kitchen lacks basic essentials such as scissors and a toaster. The pool would benefit from a cover to keep the leaves out and the heat in. The villa has a lot of steps and is quite a steep walk to and from the town which is beautiful. Not a problem for us but the less mobile would struggle.We hope to return sometime. Omis is a hidden gem!

Rymligt och fräscht boende

Utmärkt för ett stort sällskap där man vill ha både gemensamma ytor och även kunna ha avskildhet. Lugnt läge. Välskött uppskattad pool. Väl fungerande luftkonditionering. Trevlig värd. Ända nackdelen var den hårt trafikerade vägen ner till staden. Kräver starka ben när man ska hem.

Great New Years holidays

A group of 15 young adults had a great time in Omiš. We could all eat together in the bigger apartment and still have the possibility to have our peace and quite in our own rooms and other apartments. We found everything we needed at the property. The view over the bay and surrounding cliffs is amazing. The host Tom was very helpful. He even helped us with "peka" a traditional way of cooking in the wood-fired oven. As climbers, we found Omiš and surrounding crags to be a true paradise. Crags are of all difficulties, different expositions and steepness.

Fantastic house

The accommodation is perfect ! We were on site with 15 people. It offers plenty of space for large groups. There are 3 large terraces. 1 with pool, 1 to eat with large stone table (very nice) and one with loungers to chill. The view over Omis and the sea is just gorgeous. In principle, a car is superfluous, everything is within walking distance and immediately around the corner, including a supermarket. The accommodation is simply very nicely furnished and lacks nothing. The landlords were simply uncomplicated and very sympathetic. It was the perfect vacation always happy to return ! Thank you very much !

Wonderful vacation in Omis!

We were a group of 7 adults and 6 kids between the ages of 1-64 who really enjoyed our time in Omis. We stayed for 11 nights and had a wonderful vacation. The house were perfect for our group, spacious with lots of rooms, and the terraces and pool area had a view over Omis that was breathtaking. The house is located in a friendly neighborhood with everything you need in walking distance. If you follow the stairs down to the mainroad (about 10 min walk) there is a really beautiful pebble beach. I would recommend this property to everyone who visit Omis!

Super-Unterkunft

Dieses Ferienhaus hat uns sehr, sehr gut gefallen. Es bietet einen herrlichen Blick auf die Bucht und die Altstadt von Omis. Die untere Etage mit zwei großen, durch Grünpflanzen beschatteten Terrassen und dem Poolbereich hat viel Platz. Gemeinschaftliches Essen und Spielen mit den Kindern darauf ist ein Genuss. Diese untere Wohnung ist recht groß und hat Raum auch für eine große Familie. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Die beiden oberen Wohnungen sind etwas kleiner, haben aber ein großes Wohnzimmer incl. Küchenzeile und 2 Schlafzimmer, sowie ein bzw. 2 Balkone mit Meerblick. Das Haus liegt an einem Hang, der Fußweg zur Altstadt bzw. zum großen (Sand-) Strand dauert ca. 15 min (Rückweg bergauf, aber selbst mit Kinderwagen und Buggy gut zu bewältigen). Die Vermieterin wohnt in der Wohnung ganz oben (separat), ist sehr, sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir waren mit einer jungen Familie mit Baby und einer Dreijährigen dort (untere Wohnung), zwei Familien ohne Kinder in den beiden oberen Apartments. Das Leben spielte sich natürlich unten auf den großen Terrassen und am Pool ab - es war absolut herrlich. Auf einer Terrasse befinden sich eine (viel genutzte) Schaukel und daran anschließend ein Spielhaus mit kleinerem Sandkasten und ein Bereich mit Schildkröten, von der Dreijährigen mit Begeisterung gefüttert. Die Anlage verdient einfach *****-Sterne. Noch ein Wort zum Ortskern: recht malerisch, auch angesichts spektakulärer Bergkulisse. Viele gute Restaurants und Cafés, ausreichende Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, die man gut auf dem Weg vom und zum Strand nutzen kann. Hauptstrand: sandig (etwas gröberer Sand, aber auch barfuß für Kleinkinder geeignet), Meer flach abfallend, Strand großzügig mit Vermietung von Sonnenschirmen und Liegen (nicht obligatorisch), Spielplatz, Strandbars, schöner Blick aufs Gebirge. Am Fluss diverse Möglichkeiten wie Bootstouren, Rafting, Paragliding etc.
