Great place. The location is perfect. Easy 5 min walk to beach. It’s surrounded by trees so it feels very private. Close to everything you need at the beach. Highly recommended.

Papa's Shack was a perfect place for my wife and i to celebrate twenty years of marriage. It was secluded and peaceful. We loved every minute of it and look forward visiting again

Great property with everything we needed. The cart with chairs was an added bonus. When I think if a beach cottage, Papa Shack does a great job at fulfilling this ideal. Perfect size for my husband and I with our little dog. The lock was tricky at first, but our host wrote us back rather quickly. We loved the slow vibe of the island and can’t wait to come back!! Thank you for a marvelous stay!!

a wonderful retreat for me and my husband. completely secluded. only a short walk to the gulf on one side or the bay on the other. We did rent a golf cart because we are in our 70's and it was really hot to walk to the water. The house was spacious , clean and wonderfully decorated in a beach theme. The glassed in room was my favorite. There is room for another couple or kids. they have a lighted outdoor space with a fire pit. definitely going back.

This property was very cute and conveniently located. Easy to access both the public beach walkover and at the other end of the street, beautiful views of the sunset over the bay. Air conditioning worked fantastically well and appliances are new and clean. We rented a golf cart and it made it easy to get around the island to various stores and restaurants on approved roads, and the parking at the beach walkover made getting our stuff to the ocean very easy. We brought our two dogs, the roads around the house are good for walks with pups! Would reccomend to anyone.

This little jewel is in a perfect location with great privacy and is equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. We brought along kayaks, beach chairs and bikes and there was plenty of room. The fire pit and lights are an added attraction along with the grill and outdoor dining deck. Access was easy and the property was clean throughout. We plan to come back for our third extended stay in 2027. A big thank you to our hostess.

This was our 2nd time staying here and we love this charming little cottage. Its 2 bedroom and one bath perfect for my spouse and me and our dog. We love the sunroom area and sitting on the deck. Kitchen is well equiped. Dawn is wondeful to work with and we had no issues plan to return.

Perfect for our family getaway

We celebrated my husbands birthday with our two small children. This was the perfect location and size for what we needed. The master bed is especially comfortable! Cute place to stay.
